We want to start this sunny week in Albion with a new Fable III screenshot on our Facebook page! This Captain, whose name we won't reveal just yet, is a pretty angry man with a fierce smoking habit and wet boots. Any
feedback welcome as always!

That screenshot isn't exactly the best marketing move ever, though as long as the game will come to the PC with a better resolution and a proper mouse support (111!!one), I feel free to not give a damn
In an extensive interview with Gamasutra, Peter Molyneux has made it clear that Fable III has been designed with a commercial outlook in mind.
"A lot of [Fable III] is commercial. A lot of it is." Molyneux said, "... that's what accessibility and simplicity are -- making sure, when you get the game, within a few minutes you're understanding who you are and who your allies are."
According to the Lionhead developer, this embrace of commercialism doesn't have to mean a lack of innovation or creative bravery. "I think that you can be unbelievably brave and be commercial as well. I don't think one is the polar opposite of the other," he said.
"Why can't pieces of art be as successful as anything else? I think they should be; I think there's very good reason to be."Elsewhere in the interview, Molyneux celebrates the end of the "arduous" in-game tutorial and challenges the assumption that complexity in a game must necessarily equal depth.
Fable III will be coming to Xbox 360 and PC in time for Christmas 2010.
I raged hard when I read Molyneux's reasons for ditching the experience system in Fable 3... I mean, seriously? People didn't understand it??? Fucking braindead console twats. Shame too as Fable 2 is amazing, far better than Fable 1 - and I count that amongst my favourite A.RPGs.
This game just went from "yay fable 3, i want it !" to ''lcound not care less about this console pos''
Let the console retards have this.. How fuckin retarded one must be to not understanding a simple thing a exp. bar ? Can't wait to see if this asshole will implement a cover system in this game..
the whole "easy to learn" thing isn't really such a bad thing - what good old peter is missing is the "...but hard to master" part! fable 1+2 are good games, but far too easy
what i don't understand is if he wants to remove experience points, why not simply give the player the choice: a) standard gamer, system works like fable2 for example; b) idiot, auto level up with "invisible" exp points. and if there isn't any rpg system in place at all, it's an awful idea to market it under the name of an established RPG franchise.
but even though i don't like his decisions either, maybe he can pull of something good. i'm gonna wait for the first real gameplay demos before condemning it based solely on a bunch of the usual molyneux craptalk.
Misinterpreted. It will be exclusive AMONG CONSOLES. It's always been that way. On E3, when someone says Exclusive to Xbox 360 that means that it will ONLY appear on that CONSOLE, it does not mean it won't appear on PC, cause they don't really count PC on E3.
