How can I not be, when I see a young girl who can't find a job, can't pay for college and is considering suicide, prostitution and can't even buy weed from a supplier to deal it.
She should pull herself up by her bootstraps or whatever. The biggest problem with america is that they take seriously what should not be taken seriously. Or they're all fucking idiots who are brainwashed with fear and religion into doing whatever makes the most money for their country. Or I don't know, who cares, it ain't going to be fixed until it all falls apart.
America is the land of opportunity not here have some handouts, the idea is supposed to be that if you excel you have a chance of success. I barely graduated high school, no way for enough cash for college in my fucked up family growing, and yet here I am an IT professional making more cash than anyone in my family.
The teen prostitute needs to quit waiting for some man who actually lived the American Dream to come rescue her and handle her own shit. That being said, the rich will get richer, and the poor will either fix their fucked up situation or get poorer.. it's still a choice, no one else can be blamed.

I love how the US gets ridiculed for things that are also rampant in the country that the accusers live in.
name me one country where there isn't rich that want to get richer, and poor that wish that could have more.
US is no more, nor less fucked up than any other country. its ran by humans, just like any other country. the powerful want more power, the weak hate the powerful...is the way of MAN, not just the US.
if she cant afford college and considering killing herself, there is more issues there than money problems.

and why bitch she cant buy weed to sell? because its an easy "no effort to get cash" money maker..no effort. little work for lots of gain. the easy way out is why.
just like prostitution. in the US no ones FORCED into prostitution, unlike many other countries.. here they choose it, again as a "eh its easier to lay there and make money than put effort into finding a real job".
to me, it DOES sound like she wants the easy way out, the fast cheap effortless paths is all see shes because its all she wants to work for. shes saying "I need to goto college, but selling weed, or being a hooker is the only 2 fast cash ways to make it."
I got out ofl high school, did kick my ass everyday construction to make money for college..did what I had to.
now finally 15 years later I got a good job as software engineer. I didn't get out of school expecting a red carpet leading me to the top of the ladder job I dreamed of with unicorns and pay raises around every corner.
sure there are people that have to claw their way up in life in the US, and there is some that breeze by on daddies money with no problems....just like any other piece of land on the earth.
I just hate people that see the 'american dream' as "its America, bring me stuff on a silver plate and spoon feed it to me while rubbing my nuts for me".

thats what got us in the situation we are now, everyone expecting cheap houses, things handed to them with no effort, and that they are 'owed' something for nothing....the mircowave and remote control syndrome. make it easier faster and cheaper for me.

Paying for education or healthcare is a preposterous idea. There is nothing any single person on this site can say, whatsoever, that will make me change my mind on that. America is the only country in the world that will kick you out of hospital, kick you right to the kerb, if you haven't got insurance or money to pay for healthcare. That's the "American Dream" is it? Well you can all fucking keep it

@Juba, don't frown matey. The worst case scenario is: you end up on streets, picking trash to sell to factories. : ) Which I've done twice in my life to support and help one of my unemployed electric/electronics bachelor friend. The police had caught us and he was puzzled when he heard that we are both bachelors. Dumb fucks, like there are no bachelor unemployed people in here.
There are ways for your lady friend. She can always squeeze the orange to get juice. (Excuse the pun, I didn't mean porn in anyway) She can work hard to pay for university. She'll have hard time but t the end she will prevail. I know I sound like an optimist life-treats-em-good-all-the-time pricks, but I'm not Juba : )
