Whats the media coverage/interest like in rugby over there during the shit nations ?? i mean bore nations ?? err six nations.

+ do the games sellout in rome ?

On a personal note.. north hemisphere rugby is SOOOOOO much different than southern... shit nations seems to be .. kick kick kick kick.. where as in nz/aus/sa its run run run run.

The only decent thing bout NH rugby is Chabal <3

Overall quite poor: until some years ago the Six Nations was broadcasted on the public TV, but the low share made rugby emigrate on a private TV service (Sky). On the other hand, everytime Rome hosts a rugby match the sellout is guaranteed, thanks to the hard core fans from all over the Italian peninsula Smile

edit: as for Chabal, well, he's truly badass Mr. Green

I see England has OG from ManU in their squad.
He did have a great season in the Premier League..and looks like his fine form continues.

I thought he made the squad because I saw at the Cubs baseball game. I guess he's out of shape from what I read. No biggie because Brazil have plenty of talents. I am rooting for the US too Very Happy .

Netherlands - Ghana

4 - 1

I think we played a good match except for the one big mistake in defence. We're now 18 games in a row unbeaten Very Happy

Edit : Nice goal by sneijder btw

Italy - Mexico 1-2

What a ridiculously bad game we played, totally based on defence (as always) with almost zero shots.
I have the sensation that we'll go to South Africa on holidays this year Laughing

edited the score lol, it wasn't 2-1 but obiouvsly 1-2..

+1
All the players (obiouvsly) don't give the 100% and try to avoid tackles as much as possible, so basically these friendly matches can be considered a sort of advanced training, which is boring indeed.. Smile

Can't wait to laugh at, er I mean, watch the magnificent portuguese team's performance on this world cup. Laughing

A friendly match is just that, but IMO our last 2 were pretty much a prelude to the real deal.
A draw with the almighty Cape Verde team (those football titans...) and a "smashing" 3-1 victory against the Cameroon team (playing against 10 after Eto'o being kicked out early on ).

Cant wait.
