Quote: | Ditto. Every DLC (any game) so far has always felt like a tacked-on piece with little or no relevance to the main plot and therefore felt largely uninteresting. But this here is how it's got to be. Let's hope it turns out as advertised. |
One big exception:
[While technically not a DLC] StarCraft:BroodWar.
It turned the whole game upside down and made it from a great game into a Korean national sport.

To try and answer Stinky244's question and this might contain a few early spoilers about it - five new areas, unsure how that's calculated, you land in the hover tank like vehicle but can't drive it, at least not here, and it's a rogue (Or hidden or something.) Cerberus base researching something (I don't know what yet.) but things go wrong.
(It seems to contain a bit more content but it's probably not as long as the main quest content in the original game, meaning part of it of course like say the Krogan planet or Geth base and such.)
Based on the ending video (BIK movie.) it seems to be action oriented though it begins a bit quiter and sets up the story and explains things though that changes relatively quickly I would guess.
(Only just started exploring the base so I'm not very far into it, expecting 2 hours or so all in all at most of content so a bit longer than Kasumi or Firewalker though those weren't that long either actually.)

His silence speaks volumes!
I haven't played any DLC at all, since I finished my first run of the game. I guess I will have more to play while finishing my second one... neat! Hmm, actually I've played Zaeed, but still there's enough to keep me busy.

I added a edit a few posts up but who's that again? unless I'm missing something obvious or otherwise clever and interesting.
(I only remember that guy whatever his name was again you encounter as a companion when starting the game but he's alive, loyal even, though somehow not often in the armory due to some bug.)
Actually he's the only black person I remember in the game, was there any other aside from standard NPC's who are just there for filler
(I'm a bit confused now, I must be missing something and it's probably obvious but what could it be, I'll find out eventually.)

Yeah that's some weird bug I've gotten, sometimes Jacob (I finally remembered the name.) is there but most of the time he isn't.
(Couldn't it have happened to Jack instead or Zaeed, Zaeed says nearly nothing anyhow and Jack only says "Fuck off" due to a mistake I did during her potential romance path when attempting to play a bit with Miranda and Tali, ups.)
Got the first crash when loading the next area of this DLC as well, have to do it all over but it only took 25 minutes including exploring the place thoroughly so say 1.5 - 2.5 hours to do everything possible across all five or so areas, got some more use of the Hammerhead as well blasting defenseless herbivores while driving around the place.
(There's a lot of enemies in some areas and they're often using heavy weapons but it can be managed depending on squad setup and weapon usage.)

How does one know if you have the overlord installed correctly? It installed, ran entitlements v2, Didn't see it on the list, ingame says it's available for download. Patched to 1.02 as well.... what do I need to do? Was there a new entitlement I missed? Thanks
