from the forum
I don't have a date for you guys for a demo.
We do plan on doing one.
I don't know if it will come out before, during or just after the PC launch.
Obviously we didn't beat the North American Xbox launch.
On the upside, the reviews are starting to come in - these should help you guys get a sense about the quality of the game since it's hard to wait to make a buying decision.
I wish I could have more precise details about a demo for you, but we have a lot of things we're doing right now.
There is a ton of post launch work for us to do.
Things on our plates:
- A billion crazy foriegn language versions. Which of you are buying the Hungarian version?
- Mod kit / SDK discussions. You guys want this, right?
- Mac version. Halo was the best selling Mac game in the last five years or so. Let's see if BiA can beat that.
- Demo. Yes, it will happen.
- PC version update around launch time (real world test of the autoupdater and provide a few quickies people will want or need).
- Eat, sleep, etc.
These items are not in order of priority - except for "Eat, sleep, etc." That always seems to come last for us.
Thanks to Magoomagic for finding this.
check the pc update gooood news

Dont expect a copy any time soon... this is prolly one for retail if you really want it. this has starforce protection + floating code + dvd so its not gonna be cracked right away. They are saying toca race driver 2 was the only thing as close as hard to crack.

and in the system requirements it says something about possible incompatibilities with virtual cd-rom software, or something along those lines. which doesnt sound good to me.

You should refrain from speaking on topics which you have not experienced.
The battles are more intense than you'd think.
Instead of having 10 players on a team running around like retards, trying to be Rambo, TKing, and otherwise generally being worthless, this game is like 10 players who work as a team and move together.
Then you have another team of 10, it's like a 20 person game where everyone is working as a team instead of a game like Battlefield where people are throwing grenades at their feet or stealing vehicles only to drive into a tree.
I hope you understand what I'm saying. Don't be so quick to judge, it's a lot better than you think.
