the wolfman - 7/10 - really enjoyed it, much more than i thought i would. the atmosphere was just awesome, and its the kind of film that occupies that spot between major production and an independent one, where its more about making a deliberate film/genre piece as opposed to a mainstream 'easy' movie, so it feels a little uncomfortable... a little 'off'...which is why it didnt do so great at the box office, and ultimately why it grabbed me. i liked it, it was a well made REAL horror film, in a market saturated with shitty cheapo dumb slasher flicks. really good flick, if a bit slowly paced... but the pacing worked in this case.

shrek 4 (i think its 4, right?) - 6/10 - not bad. still not up to the standards of the first 2, but definately a step in the right direction from that shitastic third film. i think they tried to kinda emulate the first movie by resetting the clock, and it works for the most part... all the bits without fiona were great, and ill admit i definately laughed out loud a couple of times.. not a bad film overall, but not great.

Attack the Gas Station II - 8/10

I've seen the first one and it was better but this one was still the same kind of humor. I really like this kind of simple pointless humor where they do things just for the lulz. xD I definitely recommend watching the first one for those of you who might be interested. It's a Korean movie about a gang who decides to just mess with a gas station owner (silly comedy) for no other reason than them being bored. The second one has the same kind of humor but it's a bit worse than the first one imo. Smile

!!! I had no idea there was a sequel! Did you download it?

Race - 2008

a wonderful and clever cat and mouse chase thriller. With sexy katrina and bipasha basu and a good chase in South Africa, it was worth the time spent for viewing it. Good music also .Overall, a well made smart thriller with a few nice twists.

8/10

Total abysmal movie, fell asleep twice while watching it. Im not a big fan of the game but they surely did a "Uwe Boll" with this movie.

Not bad but the lack of action makes it a bit boring.

prince of persia 6/10

not bad, but i do enjoy a good adventure flick so theres a little bias in there (just a little Very Happy)... just a pity though because a bit of polish, and i really believe this COULD have been a really solid film. bit more thought in the script to make things make sense instead of being inconsistent and random... bit more effort with the characters and how they acted/behaved... a little more effort with the camera work... this could have been a really really great game/movie translation... there was potential, but sadly it wasnt to be.

oh well. atleast its enjoyable, not utterly painful
