People, some first impressions? Is it as nonlinear as promised? Does it emphasize the choices/consequences element as promised?

Maybe change Language=RUS to Language=ENG in BaseEngine.ini in /Engine/Config
Tell us what works, can't play yet myself
Strange that there is a language setting in both APEngine.ini and BaseEngine.ini?

I absolutely have no "ENG" localization folders, which is odd, since we're using the same release.
But i set it to Language=INT in that file and in APEngine.ini and it now loads english fine, so that worked.

Read it on another forum. Don't know if it works but you can still give it a try:
Delete all folders from Alpha Protocol\APGame\Localization except for INT folder. That should give you full ENG version ...

Anyone figured out where to disable the mouse acceleration in the ini files? I think that's what causing those weird, sudden camera shifts.

Does any of you guy have an idea of how big the game is?
How many hours should it last before beating it?
I'm still deciding if I should buy it...

This is one of the more engaging pc games I've played in recent time, certainly the 6/10 doesn't do it any justice at all, but seeing as the same reviewer gave Splintercell: Derpiction a solid 9/10 it shouldn't surprise me, as this game is a lot tougher and requires more thought put into it if you want to do things stealthily - there is no handholding in that regard.

Sounds as good as I expected. I might give them my money, but NOT before I try the game for myself.
@Epsilon:
Are the RPG elements as strong as they're advertised?
Also, for body disappearing timeout try setting that value you mentioned to -1. These values are usually integers and negative values mean Disable 99% of the time.

Sounds very good.
May you give me some more detailed impressions? I'm especially interested in knowing wether the choices/consequences system is as good as they promised - do your choices really matter?

Fun as hell based on what little I've seen so far. The very first section of the game isn't too exciting but once the real missions started, it's awesome. Characters and writing are great so far, the conversations flow very nicely and the gameplay feels good (apart from hacking which controls awfully on the PC).
This looks like a real winner.

Epsilon posted a few images on page 16 and 17, from Sabin's comment about them it seems that the textures were a bit sharper for the environment though character detail was more or less the same as the X360 edition.
(Various UE3 engine INI tweaks might be possible as well such as forcing AF16 instead of the default 4x, shadow resolution up from the default of 64 low to 1024 high LOD, trilinear filtering, mip-map bias, decal lifetime - mentioned already though - and a few other things I'd guess.)
