ok..installed it and played only few mins..i completed 2 races as 1 place, and ...I LOVE IT 
for me it is much better than split second..maybe i will have to give split second chance, but blur feels good, feels fast , the fights on the roads are cool better then i expected.
everyone and he's opinion, but sometimes all you need is few min's to decide what good for you.

The update will unlock additional content and raise the current rank cap from 10 to 15.

Can't start the game, I run it, the activision logo appears and then it just stays at black screen playing some music.
Anyone?

Wow guys, running such a powerful card with a puny CPU such as E2180 is really really overkill and bottlenecking it. Even the higher end GTX 2xx line would be bottlenecked by that.
@aeonfast
You can overclock your E6750 quite well to let the card breathe. I run my E6600 at 3.15GHz, albait with better cooling than the stock Intel cooler.
@Ronhrin
All I can think of is the multiscreen again?

Blur is kinda 'meh'.
1: I had to use the X360 controller emulator to get my Logitech Chillstream to work and I really had to use a controller 'cause controlling this game with a keyboard is pure agony!
2: WTF is up with the graphics? Sure, they look kinda nice (highest setting on 1440x900) but knowing Bizarre also made PGR3 and 4 they look really bad. (And no, I'm not a graphics whore, but compared to they previous mentioned games this game is really a couple of steps back).
3: Why the hell can't I change the controls? Is this a new way of porting? 'Console users can't change controls so you can't either!'
4: 3 different kind of targets at each race. Sure, fine, let me first get all lights and then focus on the fan targets. WHAT!? I CAN'T!? Why do I have to end in the top 3 in order to get the fan targets? I get to all 12 gates, get the required amount of fans, I finish 4th, so they don't count. What kind of stupid rule is that?
5: Nothing to keep me going, just the same stuff over and over.
So yeah, Blur isn't the game I was expecting it to be. It can be fun sometimes, but knowing you have to finish top 3 in order to make the fan stuff count is just not cool and really frustrating. This is not the arcade type racer with cool powerups I wanted it to be. Too bad. Between Split/Second and Blur, Split/Second is way better imo. The action is cooler, the small story keeps you going, controls aren't crap and it's arcade like arcade is supposed to be: Pedal to the metal and enjoy!
Btw, what's with all the people really wanting AAx4 or 8? A few pixelated lines isn't that bad is it? I remember playing NFS3 on the lowest possible settings on my Pentium 1 133Mhz. The FPS were really low, everything looked like crap but the game itself was cool. Isn't that what counts? A cool game? And if we really have to look at the graphics then I really love to see more detailed cars, surroundings, explosions and what not then some sharp lines. Atleast this game doesn't overuse bloom like many other games and it used nice lensflares (same kind as Split/Second has).

E6750 and rubbish 4850 and game runs great a max settings at 14400x900. Finding it better than Split Second as the weapons add a more technical challange to the game. As reviewers have said it's like a grown up Mario Kart for adults

I'm stuck at the 3d boss demands. "Complete 4 fan targets' - even on easy I cannot reach it, every time I'm 20-30 fans less. And the other one - win event 5 with 1 x5 combo - I don't know even wtf is this.

Jesus this game is terrible compared to Split/Second. I thought this was supposed to blow Split/Second out of the water, instead it's just an awful Mario Kart clone.

Well,im really enjoying both games (SS and Blur) ,and both of them are working great.Two arcade racers in one month,cant remember same situation on PC lately. 
Im playing Blur with ps2 gamepad and using xpadder to map controls how i want..xpadder ftw !

When will they fix controller issue ?? How is it possible to release a racing game with this problem ?? Next time they release a shooter game not supporting mouse, just steering wheel !

xbox360 controller works just fine... get a good controller. Xbox360 one is nice because its M$ and most of the games support it.
btw did any one of you experienced problems after the game update. I patched the game and now after racing the menu system is in slow mo. FPS is only 6. The game works fine tho in the races so not a huge problem.
