I'm really starting to enjoy the 360 version =) Combat is shoddy as all hell, but the game itself is great fun and definitely has more potential too.

If that´s the clone upped on wbb, it doesnt work.

Installer is in Russian and a crack is needed.

I don't think that any clone will "work" on it's own as the game has to be activated Smile

Not massively, but it does smack of poor design decision. The game itself plays out very, very much like Mass Effect 2 -- only without the tight, smooth, combat. It's mainly a sensitivity issue, but it's also due in no small part to the skill system (I hope!) rather than player skill. Lower stats in weapon skills means considerably worse accuracy, etc.

Having an installer in Russian doesn't mean there isn't an option to install the English version, but I'm going to wait for an official release anyway.

Oh and quick addendum; having a mouse and keyboard will help gunplay dramatically. Let's just hope the PC version isn't going to be a quick and dirty port-job.

If I remember correctly that´s how it´s supposed to be. The more points you spent in a certain weapons skill the better your accuracy with that weapon will be. So it´s more like an RPG and less like the combat system in ME2.

Well, if I recall correctly, they did delay the game for a few months, because apparently it didn't feel like Mass Effect enough. I am guessing that it was more like a classical RPG gameplay wise at first. Then the publisher made them redesign it, and now it's something in between and that's why everything feels slightly out of place - the animations, the combat...

ME1 also had big crosshairs in weapons you have little or no skill points. It even prevented any use of zoom for weapons outside class specialization.

Of course they ditched in ME2, making it look more like mainstream TPS, during combat.

They removed it because it was a ridiculous concept. You can aim down the pistol's sight, but it's too difficult for you to figure how to do it with assault rifles and shotguns? Please...

Well I must say, aside from the sketchy combat sometimes, I'm thoroughly enjoying this game. Thoroughly. Hey, and at least it's infinitely more stealthy (if you so choose) than Splinter Cell: Sexy Panther Edition

I'm not far enough into the game to give a proper opinion yet. It's all character and background building right now, only just started working for Alpha Protocol and I'm on my first real mission.
