I rate the movie 6/10. As a PA movie - 8.5/10 (some really really great scenery + gangs + fuck-ups and cannibals)
I really liked Gary Oldman. I loved him! Too bad he didn't show up that often tho.

Solomon Kane - 5/10 Absolutely no idea what people like about this one.
Alice in wonderland - 7/10 Very well made movie with great performances. However, wished they would do a movie out of American McGee's Alice instead. A sinister and adult take on the tale.

This is my cup of tea. However, I give it 8/10 in that specific genre. Should it be a score compared to all kinds of genre I would proberbly have given it 2-3 less.

Great movie, love all the theories and ideas about the ending and all. Though the twist was pretty easily predicted early in the movie.

Book of Eli 7/10
The Road 9/10
I watched these both in 2 nights... I have read Cormac McCarthy's book of the road and the movie was absolutely spot on. Emotional and moving, harrowing and grim. Perfect.
Book of Eli i just found to be a rather enjoyable, stylistic, post-apocalyptic romp. If you look over the religious overtones, its actually quite good. I loved the over-the-top biker bad boys, they just seem like the kind of madness straight out of Mad Max. Did anyone else notice Cheddar Bob from 8 mile as the biker gang leader

I'd like to hear what made you like it? Plot, acting, action? It might be interesting to look at it from another angle. Also, maybe you are familiar with the source material (comics?) and it somehow enhanced your viewing experience.
