pretend lost got cancelled after season 2 and you have one of the best shows ever to be shown on tv.
add seasons 3-7 and you have the biggest peice of shit that seems to have lost all its writers in a strike asnd replaced them with monkeys who can whack on a keyboard
"Here you go whatsyourname, drink this. Now you're like me."

"Here you go you stupid and worthless people that follow this show, swallow another load of horseshit. Now you're like us, because we can't explain this show either."

Of course I have. I just don't find any reason to discuss it too much, it was pathetic.
yet here you are. what is this ? your 15-20th post since the finale ?
Yes.. pathetic
I am here to make fun of a series with good potential turned to complete crap.
Wanna hear what is more pathetic? If you check my posts here in this thread over the years, almost all of them are full of ridicule for the show.
I not only think you're wrong but you are wrong is such a huge way.
The problem wasn't that it was a bad show but that you didn't relate.
Please don't mistake me, I respect your opinion but as someone who has on more than one occasion been lost the show reflected in oh so many ways the journey to acceptance.
The writers captured the essence of the struggle that leads to acceptance with stunning clarity.
Yes there were too many episodes and the show could have been resolved earlier but it's never about the destination but the journey.
One day you will understand what I mean, perhaps it'll be tomorrow.

at least you acknowledge it
still don't get why you (and some other people here) even watched the finale, don't tell me you thought it was gonna be completely different than all the other episodes, like a 2 hour Q&A session about the mysteries of the island...
I agree with twobells. this was man of faith vs man of science and faith won...
people who have been crying "wth this better be answered in the final or i'll get all upset and cry about it" should let go, like Jack did.
oh well, it's probably too late already.
@twobells
Your argument isn't convincing. This is a science fiction show with mildly interesting characters in most cases, and very interesting characters in very few cases, but science fiction show nonetheless, based in its majority in a mysterious island in which mysterious metaphysical phenomena occurs. Fanboys (the "usual suspects", if you will) can argue like sheep that this show is about characters and no answers should ever be revealed (after being told so by the producers who were clueless how to finish their mess), but this is not what we wanted from this show.
(In case you don't catch it, the post is pure sarcasm.)
And it is not about the religion either, I can accept religion of sorts in a work of fiction. My displease with the show from season 3 was mostly bad characters, bad actors, so called mysteries which lead to nowhere and the reliance on ever appearance of new (silly, in my opinion) plot twists, which, again, lead to nowhere. The last season, with emphasis on the last 3-4 episodes, has been just the icing of the cake.

I have always been frank about this, I've been watching lost for the last few years just to see what silly crap they would pull. The finale I watched today just to be able to out the final nail in the coffin (and come ridicule it here). I have to admit, Ronhrin's love for the show did make me wonder if it is possible to redeem the show in its last episodes, but after the Across the Sea episode, I knew it wasn't.

It's not about that. Faith can have it's role while everything else is satisfying. I will direct you to BSG on this. Faith has nothing to do with the FAIL of Lost, beside the fact it was waste of air time to have a dying man's illusions plastered over an entire year of so called "side-ways flashbacks".
I didn't see it as dying man's illusions... In any case, I've said before that the character resolutions were great in my opinion. And it would have been enough, had they not spent so much time creating such a detailed and mysterious setting, only to disregard it with "it was not important" in the end...
There was a lot of potential to wrap it up nicely and make it perfect, but they just ignored it.

i dled all seasons of bsg and first ep started wif previously on and i was like gtfo and deleted what to do? there a guide how to watch? [/ot]
on topic lost is like saw
its so brilliant because its unexpected
the main bad guy in saw we didnt know of a possible twist because nothing alluded to him
so when he rose we all went either omfg brilliant amazzing godlike genius or wtf is this bullshit?
same with lost
5 seasons alluded to a great mythological fantasic mystery where man was capable of wonders and secret scientific research into creating a new breed of science and a new breed of sci/fi noir. what we got was a season that cancelled everything. restarted the whole story and ended it. its lol
it really did ignore the island and every episode including a lot of the ones in 6 during the finale. why show the origin of jacob and mib when it doesnt matter?
why show us origin of alpert when it doesnt matter?
i dun fucking get
