while the situation is potentially interesting, there's a bit of a problem with that.. they needed olivia toi open 'the door'.. except it was the alternate version, who never had the experiments done on her
the attempt should have just failed
i guess they again changed the script in the last minute and forgot that it doesn't work anymore

Olivia was supposed to 'supply' the power to keep the door open, the device opened the door. Since Bell sacrificed himself, Olivia was not needed.

I tried watching this for like 5 first episodes and I didn't find it very good (which is actually very hard for me since I usually love stuff like that, so I must have thought it sucked pretty bad at the time).
So is it any better now?

although i AM a fan of monster of the week episodes... always something new, rather than just extended singular stories. dont get me wrong, i like strong fleshed out stories, but i also hope they keep up a number of weekly random stories as well.
