Played the demo a week ago or so and didn't like it at all. Surely, fancy effects all over the place, but controls are horrible as far as I can remember. Maybe I should give it another try though...
Painkiller however is much better in my opinion.
As far as it being made in Russia, well it's great! I'm from Russia and it's nice to see lots of Russian games hitting the western market lately. And not just some pong games, but in fact the ones that offer a competition to the existing western games, so to speak. o/

painkiller sucked, i was looking forward to it but it was shit and too brainless... good gun / weapon animations though 
this game looks as though its done by a small home team, not great but better than what i can do

there are a lot good russian games but not this one !!!
stalker, painkiller, boiling point ...........
the russian developers getting better and better !!!
