Well, I'm guessing a more appropriate word was 'builder'. A c/c++ builder. I need a simple graphical interface to build a few console applications/small programs. I'm helping a friend at the uni who have just started learning c/c++. I'm not that much into these languages but what is being required of him I can do which he can't. 
I remember, millennia ago, at school we were developing on borland/dev c++ builders. That's roughly what I need.
