Apparently a Macgyver comedy Smile

Quote:
Only one American hero has earned the rank of Green Beret, Navy SEAL and Army Ranger. Just one operative has been awarded 16 purple hearts, 3 Congressional Medals of Honor and 7 presidential medals of bravery. And only one guy is man enough to still sport a mullet. In 2010, Will Forte brings Saturday Night Live's clueless soldier of fortune to the big screen in the action comedy MacGruber.

Director: Jorma Taccone (Saturday Night Live)
Actors: Val Kilmer (and some others I don't know Razz check imdb link)

Imdb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1470023/
Trailer:

a mullet is suposed to be short on the top/sides but left long at the back

I love the guy, and I think that is his "I'm just working on my ranch and im over 50" look. He wasn't very slim in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang either but in Spartan etc he was.

As to the movie I doubt that it will be extremely good but the hard R-rating will definitely help (I laughed hard at the spoilerific last scene of the red band trailer, not that the plot was ever to be very mysterious).

Jorma Taccone(the director) is not only a writer on SNL he is also a third of The Lonely Island with Samberg and another guy whose name I forgot. And he's in Hot Rod which is a great laugh while stoned

Extreme movie is the brainfart of Epstein and Jacobson. Look how many writers are on Extreme Movie? They have most likely either only written one sketch/scene or helped with something.

Meh, I like SNL and although there are definite fluctuations in quality(the January Jones episode was one of the worst I have ever seen) the digital shorts work is allmost always solid(and a lot of that is from the Lonely Island gang) and they have some very funny people at the moment who can save most sketches. Hader, Wiig, Samberg and Forte together with Sudeikis is hilarious(have you seen the kentucky fried chicken NASA sketch?)

I honestly believe this cast will go down as one of the most underrated. All of them are ABSOLUTELY hilarious.

the KFC Nasa sketch is unreal. I love all of them.

Just watched the red band trailer of this.. if they have not shown all the funny bits in the trailer this could be a pretty funny film.

Just checked out the trailer (in HD) and I'm NOT going to watch this one. No funny stuff in the trailer at all, just a silly joke movie with very little MacGyver vibes (if any). Oh well....

Yeah I just saw the trailer and this movie looks just as bad as the retarded extreme/spartans/whatever movies are. Then again it can only be better than I expect it will be based on the trailer so I guess that's a good thing..
