I haven't seen a commercial for it or any sort of advertisement for it here in Toronto.
Maybe its just me and I missed the commercial but I'm pretty sure its not out in Canada.
Hmm...I'm gunna check after. I could be completely wrong.

I liked it although there is a bit between between the 63rd and 65th minute that doesnt work on this copy.

So you used the same one as me. I was like "Wtf??" when it stopped..but then I just jumped 2mins ahead and it worked again.

ok well the prism v2 had that chunk just cut out... guess it cant be helped.
anyway, finally watched it... overall, i really enjoyed it, great action, characters/acting was well done... nice throw-back to fantasy-adventure-swords'n-sorcery flicks, i definately was NOT disapointed by it, and i hope we see a sequel... also cant wait for the 1080

indeed it was a pretty good movie ... it makes you wonder why it was never even given a proper US theatrical release ... maybe it will find some legs on DVD/BR and you'll get that sequel.
It's actually supposed to be a trilogy, with this only being the backstory.

and yes its always kinda seemed odd to me that a film of this caliber never got a theatrical release (did it get a limited one only or something?) - i mean so much shit makes it into cinemas, but not something this good? i dunno what happened there...

It did get a theatrical release, it was in my local UK cineplex for a month at least but I do think that the film was not marketed successfully.

it put all those large budget action adventure movies to shame.

i didnt bother with that shitty nedivx rip, but a 2cd ac3 just came out... i figure fuck it, it'll keep me happy till a 1080 comes out. HALF WAY THROUGH THE MOTHERFUCKER a 720p comes out, and its not the first time this shit has happened. was half way through that alice in wonderland dvdscr when the dvdrip popped up too
so yeah 720p looks to be out, unless its a fake. ill check n see.

Just watched it, average at best. They either cut the movie short without bothering about consistency that much, or the script was just very weak. It had a lot of wtf moments and the action wasn't that impressive. The ending topped it all of.

It doesn't make sense of course, wtf is the father to say "save my daughter and you save your soul"? |
I think the movie was cut to make it shorter, some scenes were definitely missing imo.
