Sure they can still produce and charge for them, but if only half of the people buy it hopefully they will realize the price is too high. That's what a SMART company would do. If sold something and 1 million people bought it and then i created an add-on and only 500,000 bought it, i would wonder why. I would investigate and find out if they think it's low quality, priced too high etc. If it's low quality and i want my customers happy, i improve my product, If it's priced too high i can either: lower the price to still get some of my customers money, or I can say 'screw you cheap bastards, i already have some of your money'. Would they ever stop making dlcs? No, they've shown themselves to be greedy and long as there is money to be made, they're going to want some of it.

activision didn't buy any halo rights, they just signed a deal with bungie for new IP, not halo. also there's already a topic for this news.

Reason I posted it here is cos this is also about activisions failure with Cod
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

After logging in 125 hours of gameplay as per Steams message, I am getting bored of the current maps. I hate paying for anything, but I do think new maps are definately needed. Ill wait for maybe a crack or some site selling it for half off.

I get an error after steam was updated to 1.1.195...
"patch_mp.ff" does not match server. How do I fix this?

according from a guy on another forum u can play the maps without buying.

that looks good now wait until the mappack comes out..Changing dvar means chaning in a .cfg file?

if all you need is map files and edit cfg like that guy claims then lol. it should be playable without any issues.
