damn this game is just awesome. it's already much more polished and balanced than most other games, and there's even tournaments for money going on and it's only in beta!
just incredible.
can't get enough...

balance changes:

+ Armor has been decreased from 2 to 1.
o Corruptor
+ Corruptor damage changed from 12 (+10 Massive) to 14 (+6 Massive).
+ Corruptor speed increased from 2.75 to 2.9531
+ Corruption ability redesigned:

Agreed!
Its gonna be interesting to see what this patch is gonna do. Def Terran got thier tier2 + 3 buffed, and the Colossus change could also be big.
The thing Im most interested in atm, being an Protoss player, is how the sentries downgrading is gonna pan out.

Yeah.
Oh and it seems the game speed was increased a bit. a lot of speculation going on as it's not a documented change.

The thing Im most interested in atm, being an Protoss player, is how the sentries downgrading is gonna pan out. | I'm thinking they want to tone down the sentry spam that was getting popular with some Toss players. Basically you get Zealots with charge, and for every Zealot you have one Sentry. So your Zealot:Sentry ratio is 1:1. Then, when you get into a fight you use the Sentry F ability to wall of the enemies forces into groups, and to wall off their retreat. Then your Zealots pwn them in close quarters while sentries provide ranged support and Force Fields to absorb ranged damage.
It's a great strat that can take down even superior foes, and since the units are so cheap you can out-macro most opponents. I guess this sentry nerf is trying to one down this strat, and now I find Void Rays/Mutalisks are a hard counter to this strat

Depends on where you preorder, but there's quite a lot of shops by now that have it.
The offer seems to end around may 16th.

Where did you read that?
The game still need lots of balance changes, why would they end now? if i where them i would end the beta very close to release...

they won't.. it will probably run another 1.5 month, and end 2 weeks before release, like most betas do
