Here's my little review about the game so far.

This is by far the most realistic WWII game i played in my life. Its not "run & gun" like most of the games. You need to take cover, order your troops to flank the ennemy or order them some covering fire while i go around the enemy to flank him.

The game is fuckin hard since you dont have a crosshair, although im use to that since i play a lot of Red Orchestra. When you "zoom" on Iron Sight your aim keep moving following your breeding...this is just WOW!!! but god damn its hard to hit the enemy. You can really feel how it is in real life. Using a damn controller makes the game even harder so i hook up my SmartJoy Frag adapter and its way much better with a mouse

The GFX are pretty good on Xbox so it will be much better on PC. When you get shot theres blood splatter appearing in the screen like you have blood in your face/eyes.

The things i hate about the game is that sometimes it takes too many bullets to kill someone or if he is hidding behind something, you have a partial shot at him but it as no effect on him so its pretty frustrating. You cant prone in the game so thats really annoying. Trying to kill someone without the iron sight is nearly impossible to do..well not till you get use it.

I didnt try the multiplayer yet cause its too late to start screaming in my living room if it totally suck so i'll give it a try tomorrow afternoon. But some poeple in my friends list tried it thinking it was a MP team deathmatch so they were in for a huge disapointment...hearing them screaming on how it sucks or "WTF is this shit..playing with bots, WTF is wrong with Ubisoft arggggg!!!!" was priceless Laughing I noticed that the game rooms keep closing as quick as they opened it...so far i can really say that people who didnt know how the MP was, gave up on it pretty quick.

here's what someone said on the MP:

"its 2v2 with AI and its purely mission mode
that and the only ones that seem to be able to get kills are the AI
i snuck up behind a guy and blasted him all he did was turn around and shot me once in the face
and theres snipers everywhere it seems i got aggravated with it and stopped playing it"

Huu why in the hell release it first for xbox. This game needs only to be played on pc imo. I even didn`t know it was gonna be out on tha shit consoles Sad . Its gonna be even out on ps2 wich sucks incredible hard.

Look maybe you will like it online cause you got needs for changes but it doesnt stop the fact that everybody hates it so far...well the MP. I'll stick to what i said on a previous post..2 or 3 weeks max till the MP die. You already have coop in LAN or split screen in games so why bring it in the multiplayer...dude, that game in deathmatch or objective online would be one of the best realistic MP ever..but no...they had to make missions with bots.

This is a fact, 90% of online gamers are set by the idea that MP is deathmatch (humans vs humans) like it is since the last 7 years....so when you bring bots in the MP, poeple just go away cause they need to get skills and own other humans like a personal goal and see who will be the better player at the end so theres no pride of owning bots and thats the reason why the MP of BiA is born dead.

Dude, there will still be human players who you can own, and all the stuff the bots do will be because a human commanded it, they can't do shit on their own except fire.

In that respect they are the same as the units in a RTS game, and they're extremely popular online.

There are other way to own people apart from getting a triple headshot with the awp while jumping (thanks max Wink). You can own someone tactically, which I find far more satisfying. It means you actually outsmarted your opponent, rather then reacted .5 secs quicker.

You're maybe right and i'll know when i will try it online but theres nothing more satisfying to kill a awp whore .5 secs quicker Twisted Evil

BiA bring a all new era in the multiplayer games...fast & skills games vs tactics games in the FPS genre

i think there is the option to enable crosshair in the options. i also like the the breathing part, and that one have to crouch/kneel to get better aiming.

i think the control on console is pretty good. i would even stretch it as far as to say it might be a bit too easy on pc. haha probably not on authentic (hardest difficulty) though. Wink

Just a little tip: You can get a crosshair in options.
I don't use it but i always check options before i play a game to see what there is to change etc.

Well its not a port so the game might be pretty much the same exept the GFX will be better on PC. Thats what i like at Ubisoft...they put 1 team on Xbox/PS2 and 1 on PC.

ever heard of game sites to look up release dates??

And the PS2 is not out yet..only Xbox...the release of BAM is a european leak..and since we dont have crystal balls we dont know if PC we be leaked or release before the street date.
