what kills me is the fact that ubi soft came up with the drm, thinking that it is the ultimate uncrackable and this way more people wll buy it and will be disappointed.i mean no demo no nothing, just buy and tray and if you like it , it's yours and if you don't, look for the the closest donkey and play with he's balls, screw you, it's your's anyway.
and i am talking here from a position of someone who loved the original splnter cell and loved DA too, infact for me DA was the best in the series and about CT the game got some great levels but overall i didn't like it very much, but this new one is the worst "splinter cell"? game ever came out..it's just anothere UE action game with bad covesystem and bad aim and maybe alot of potencial.

Actually the ps2 version of DA was pretty good. Not as good as CT but i'd put it in front of Pandorra Tomorrow. Now the xbox360/pc version sucks balls.

Yeah, the last gen versions were done by the same team as CT and I believe they are every bit as good as CT. I was talking about the balls up that Shanghai did with their PC/360 version.

I've tested matchmaking and got a match instantly, though haven't tested it further. Also private matches might not connect instantly, but they definitely work.
I don't necessarily agree with everything I say.

I haven't patched my game, no idea if it works otherwise.
edit: err, patch for the PC version doesn't seem to be out or even planned?

thats because gta is good game and if you played gta 3d and SA and you liked it, you will probebly will like gta 4 or others as long as the game creators will keep it on the same line +- , but in this case, they changed it from one side to anothere, so demo coul'd put some light on it and it was easier to make a decition if to pay for it or not...(not that i payed for the game  ) |

The controls are just laggy, or sluggish.. I hate it when games drop fps and mouse speed increase/decrease depending on the current framerate, it makes aiming quite difficult.. Uninstalling this shit and not gonna buy it.. Oh yea the weapons with scopes are wierd, first of all the aspect ratio seems strange in the scopes(everything compressed horisontally) and every time I hit the zoom button the game stutters and I end up losing target of the enemies.. Damn crappy console port tbh!

I actually completed the game with everything maxed out with 8xAA at a resolution of 5760x1200 on my Radeon 5970, never experienced any kind of lag. So I suggest you stop spewing baseless fud. |

Nah, not baseless. A lot of Radeon owners are having trouble with exceptionally low framerates with this game, check out the games official forums.

Hi guys,
I installed this yesterday. Ran it, no problem, did a couple of missions, went to bed. I start it today, it goes past the ubisoft screens, to a black screen with the three black balls in the lower right corner, and goes back to the desktop, no crash report, nothing.
Any clues?
Downloading latest GFX drivers now, Win7 32.

m...just cause 2 is not a bad game:) and i hope mafia 2 and Kane & Lynch 2 will be good.
but it is hard to be happy with games, most are crap after all. |

9800GTX+ here.
Game and controls are lagging just like a(nother) poor console port. Couple that with gameplay (mechanics) for people that like to press buttons with little to no brain activity involved, made this a game with a very fast uninstall feature. |

WOW this game really suprised me... how bad it is having in mind that review scores were pretty good.
I'm not a big fan of previous sc games so there isn't a franchise dissapointment issue. Game is poorly optimised and graphics are medicore at best just like the animation. Gameplay feels stiff and unnatural. Can't say much about the story but in the first hour it's so uninspired and ordinary that it could be b-class action movie. Those wall screenings are a joke and it really kills immersion for me if any. The only good thing in this game are the interrogations but after few it's borring like the rest of this overhyped crap.
I'm curious what the budget for this game was and how much they spend on hookers and crack. I think that i had better time with Kane & Lynch and that game was a mess and clunky but it had atleast interresting characters and so-so story.

Guess i´m the only one who played the game flawlessly, 60fps all the time, i just loved every second of the game. It´s no less than a 8.5/10 for me.
Maybe it´s due to the fact that i haven´t played other SC games -at least not fully- but that doesn´t mean SCC it´s a bad game on it´s own, it´s like comparing Mass Effect 1 to Mass Effect 2 or similar games which suffered from "consolization" or reduced some of their elements to fit the console market. Anyway... i won´t change my mind, the direction of the game is just excellent, the cameras and all are top-notch. It´s one of the few games that actually feels like a movie. Gfx for me, despite using ue 2.5, are far more better than most ue3.0 games. I could go on but i think i made my point.
The only thing i criticize is the cover system which is sometimes confusing. In most games you cover with the space bar and not the rmb, but it´s ok once you get used to it.
Gagdets and guns are a bit superfluous, they should have made the game in such a way that you NEED to use them, not just to dispatch to enemies in a more easy way. I mean... you can just finish the game with the first pistol. On the other hand, no complaints whatsoever about the AI -even on normal- and I beat the game in both normal and realistic mode.
