Anybody else having problems with their controller not responding properly in this game?

Original xbox pad? I have new cyborg pad,no problem.I even was sure that ubisoft will fucked up again with gamepad support like AC1,AC2,hawx but this time no problem even with non original xbox compability pad.

Works perfectly over Tunngle here, although can only join other skidrow games. Can't host as noone sees my games from the tunngle chat
-Only other skidrow games(skidrow crack, not external emu)

I'm playing this on realistic and i am absolutely shocked at how bad the experience has been so far :\ ( finished washington monument mission )
Enemies are just thrown onto the map to make your life harder with absolutely no logic whatsoever. Long gone are the days of Chaos Theory where you could sneak past the sleeping guard , or go under the camera and thus not alert the pair of guards monitoring the halls using said camera. All these motherfuckers do is call you a chickenfucker ( or something similar ) and investigate broken lights.
The fact that you can't whistle ( wtf is up with that ? ) is even more of a downer since it can lead to many annoying confrontations where the guy is just a little bit out of your CQC takedown range while you're ... cloaked ( and i say cloaked coz you're fucking invisible ).
Same goes for moving bodies - well , sure , it wouldn't make any sense seeing as how the game encourages you to shoot everyone in the face and rush through the levels rather than sneaking up on them but i like having a choice whether to leave the body there / hide it / use it as a distraction.
IMO so far this game is nothing but a bunch of pretty damn cool animations ,i might say , and some good ideas which unfortunately don't belong in the splinter cell series.
I think i actually liked double agent more , and that was one bad game :\

Valid points aevis. Fortunately it's just 5 hours long game, I wouldn't play it all through if it was any longer. I wasn't bored, so I guess it's a good accomplishment for a free game. I chose to rush through the missions after white box mission though, becausel it was PIA getting close to them to melee takedown.

Anyone else have permission issues with vista and copying the .dll?
Tried changing UAC option and some security priv, running under admin account too.
Still having issues, feel like im missing something silly that is preventing me from copying it.

Your AV is blocking the dll, had the same problem.

Once you get the 4 mark gun the game can be completed sleepwalking, jfc. Where is the challenge. I guess you can not use them, but it's still inexcusably easy. I don't know why every review site so far is praising the storyline as well. Ugh. They should of just called it Sam Fisher: The Revenge or some hack name and let the SC title and franchise end.

I thought I'd give it a shot as an actiony stealthgame playing on realistic but this is as far from stealth you can get.. gave it 45 mins and haven't been able to go 10 meters without killing someone so far. The story doesn't seem interesting at all either..
This game is worse than I expected.

The controls are horrendous with keyboard and mouse. You can't even control movement speed with the mouse wheel like in the previous games. Damn I really hope they release a patch or something to fix the damn controller issue because this is ridiculous

The game looks poor whats with all the jaggies?
Looks like an advanced Playstation 2 game and thats not saying much giving the fact the PS2 had virtually none-existant photo analysing capabilities.

Pretty much the most terribly optimized game I've ever played. Got about 15-20 fps average when playing coop, with my 5870. At times it would even drop to a single digit fps. That was with settings at medium-high too.

Apparently the game has some shit problems with ATI cards, Catalyst Beta 10.4a fixes some of it I think.
I get about 30 fps even on my 4850 at 1080.

thanks i'll try it. I was thinking that but been too busy on other games i didnt feel like it lol
Got like 6 PS3 games for free the other week.
And yep, AVG's resident shield scanning .dlls fixed it.

No, the crack blocks all communication with ubi servers. In short, it´s an offline crack.
