I want to see what happens in a few years when next generation consoles show up and have crazy DRMs and there cannot be crazy piracy on consoles. 
Suddenly changing the video card every two years won't be so bad.

If you've been a member over a year I don't think anyone will Ever truley leave. I left but I check back maybe once a week just to see what's going on with the few members I actually liked. I'm sure Sabin is doing the same, as for posting, what's the point anymore? This site might as well be the sister site of 4 Chan, quality posts and maturity took a huge hit the last year or so. Now its all gay references with that retarded troll face in a spoiler in every thread.

We had highly intellectual discussions about subjects like quantum physics and the Israeli-Palestinian problem in the past. We were on the verge of figuring out life's purpose, but just at the last moment the quality of the forum went down.

I think what makes this forum special is that whenever you need help you will get it, but you can also troll an be easy without problems from mods. What other forum allows users to make fun of themselves, post shock images, bash macfags, etc? Every other forum I know keeps clear politically correct images, which I don't like. And it's not like people have stopped getting help. Ask a question in hardware, support, game threads and you will get help in a few minutes. As long as this is kept that way and people actually get helped, there is nothing wrong with some fun and trolling.
If you ask me, this is why no one actually really leaves. Either they keep lurking, or come back after a period, but people always stay, despite whatever melodramatic threads or posts they make how things are not the same as they used to be. Fact is, people used to troll back then, they troll now. If once they were called Cnz and Hfric, now they are called Boundle and Craig. Who cares? When someone needs help, he is helped immediately, and that is what matters.

You will be hard pressed to find a forum where "new fags" are easily accepted. People need to prove themselfs before the "old guard" can be arsed taking notice and accepting anything. This is hard on forums where all we do are discussions and trolling sessions, its also abit trickier for new people to get into the forum groove due to the humour of peeps around and our own intricate customs.
Things are abit easier on digital graphics forums and similar where you can "prove" yourself by posting graphics and having them criticized..

That's pretty accurate. You can see people arguing with each other in the world news and later on the same guys help each other in the gaming/hardware/app section.
