|
 |
Posting it in general cause its sort of urgent.
My brother tried to fix someones laptop but while backupping something went wrong ( long story ) and lost about a GB of files which are very important to the person, i told him to turn off the laptop so we can recover files.
anyhow i have no clue what to use for recovery software, its not really the time for me to experiment with different solutions.
Anyone have some good recommendations and tips in general?

Yes,
Leave the country...
oh and get the user who wants the laptop work done to backup his own files, leaving your brother not accountable.. I do this everytime when working on peoples os's.. Its like a get out clause, cause if something shit is gonna happen then it will...
especially with pc's

i got a little program called safe data recovery if you want to try it out. as long as you aren't trying to do anything really intense with it it seems to work pretty well.

o&o unerase hs always worked for me. When I say always, I mean once. That's all I've ever had to use it.
