So, tomorrow i'm going to China....what should I buy there? An Ipad? PS3 games? Shoes? Well, I will see if i'm there, but i was wondering if it is much cheaper to buy an PS3 game for example in China, then here in the Netherlands.
Your first time going to China and where are you going ? And really you should only buy anything they make themselves, all the stuff they import really isnt that much cheaper then places here in EU.
But go to Yashow Clothing in Beijing market and get suits tailored for anything between 45-55 Euros, if you know how to haggle well of course

well... if youre going to china its important to remember not to trust anyone there. dont talk to anyone. dont leave the hotel, dont even get off the plane, and youll be fine, especially if you stay home and dont go at all.
nah but seriously... as long as you realise that every single man woman and child is trying to pull a fast one and rip you off, youll be fine.
also, second what firemaster said. fill your bags with soni and panisonic gear.
You do know that if you look like a westerner (tall and white etc.), all the Chinese dudes will take pictures of you? Perhaps not the modern Chinese from Shanghai and other metropoles, but the people in the countryside may freak out when they see a white human. And I believe the vast majority of China still is countryside.

And what to buy: I would definitely try the fried dog, seriously.
That's real organic meat like in the old days, and tastes a lot more natural than the crap that we get from factory farming. And don't worry about the dog: it will probably have had a much better life than the average pig or cow in our own dreaded meat industry.

Haha, I am really white and really tall (1.96Meter, we say here in Dutch)
But uhh, I really won't eat dog, sorry. Maybe it's strange, but no..
Thanks for the translation Kurosaki, maybe it will become handy xD
1,96m, someone's bound to notice you then! From what I know the Chinese are midgets compared to Europeans. So make sure not to trip over one
PS The smallest Chinese person was Pingping, measuring 74cm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/He_Pingping . He had a very funny high pitched voice, like he took a gulp of helium gas

Isn't doing concerts in China bit the same as in Jack Vance's Space Opera?
Can the Chinese people connect to Western classic music?
Well, they try to connect. They want to show that they are just as good as onther countries. They try very good, because before every concert they advertise like crazy, for example these huge banner:
Yeah, that's us and we are just a normal orchestra, but the Chinese don't know the word ''Harmony orchestra'' so it's completly new for them. But they are enthusiast like hell during the concert.
That banner weights about 200 kilo btw !
And in every hotel or place we came: *Spoilers doesn't work*
When you see all those thing you feel yourself a little bit famous, just a littel bit
