Out on Gamersgate, SecuROM with online activation whereas the German version used Tages so it'll need a new crack.
(1024x768 resolution as well so windowed mode might be preferred.)

EDIT: One line was mis-matched compared to what the subtitle said (Using cork against some other inventory items.), framerate is rather low though stable and fully playable, runs in windowed mode though so not full clock speeds, desktop composition might need to be disabled to regain a bit of it but it's not a huge problem, slightly stuttery audio at times as well but I think I can solve that problem.

(Good adventure game though, very well animated and quite funny while also carrying a more serious undertone, voice acting could be better but what can one expect and it works OK, "Sadwick" is somewhat annoying at times though.)

Yeah I didn't know they could handle SecuROM and that was indeed really quick.
(Unless they took Reloaded's DVM.dll crack for Tages and the original German exe but I don't think that would work, I had planned to try this since I had it pre-ordered and the German version has been available for a while but Gamersgate released the serial much earlier than I thought they would.)

Not all Securom implementations are the same.

Bur RLD,RZR and Skidrow are definitely the top groups now that vitality and hatred are dead. And unleashed, too, maybe dead ?

Not my kind of cake. Typical old-school point & click with hundreds of items in backpack. It gets quite frustrating trying to make a logical connection.

Also, the resolution is locked at 1024 and the scenery isn't that nice.

Mmmm... 1024x768 = pure fail... hope the game itself is worth the shitty resolution.

after playing this for a bit (7h) i feel its the most over biased game ever , it doesn't have the thing that would pull you in (nor story nor concept nor design but yeah its got art pff)........ only bore and snore , if you like art yeah then you would give it 10/10(talking to you mr.reviewer) but i play adventure game for the story not for the art and this story is plain crap
but yeah.... most of you already judged this by art not the story
same was with the last game Edna

without spoilers hmmm thats a hard one hm.... ok in a nutshell it mimics to death discworld 2 using game mechanics from Torin's Passage and failing in the story department with weak presentation of the main plot...
don't get me wrong it looks nice, but i piss on nice,
i just play adventure games for the story,
each adventure story for me is like a book,
if the story/progression sucks,
if it has non-logical/non fitting mind twisters
or the presentation of the plot[the main desire of the main hero to finish his quest] is weak (like here)
then i brand the adventure game i had been playing as crap

but yeah thats my opinion but seeing that todays society loves the artsy look and thats sells you will see 9/10 reviews of this

back in the old days adventure games where nothing more then text.... i miss those days

Hmmz... I just beat the demo and found the story to be really engaging. Unless the plot commits suicide at the half-way point i.e. Fahrenheit, it didn't seem weak at all from what I played.

I find it fun also. Dialogues are amusing and story so far was above average. It is not as innovative adventure game as Machinarum, but is very solid classical inventory based game.

Tho i'm stuck at top of a tree atm.
