Same here, mainly because the rod's so thin that I barely see the tip being bend.
Can anyone tell me where I can find some Titanium Alloy?
Spoiler:
At the cave next to the two brothers selling metal parts/upgrading weapons etc. The robots drop it
Spoiler:
You sure? Couse i've been farming in there for about 1 h and still nothing. Also i've been there before and they never dropped any TA... well, I think one did, the first time I went there for that quest related sword upgrade.

not sure if you can even call this info a spoiler but I guess it's better to be on the safe side.
Spoiler:
Early in the game you want to be killing the robots who shoot the red orbs at you and drop blahblah bolts normally. Their rare drop is titanium alloy but the chance to drop is pretty damn low.
There are 2 I think at the very end of the ground floor but they're not worth the time it takes to get to them so if you want to farm I suggest you run in, get to the elevator, go down to B1, kill everything on the way to the cart (there will be 4 or 5 of the guys you want there I think) but don't enter the cart because there's nothing beyond. Then run back out of the dungeon to reset the area and repeat.
You'll also be making some cash while you're at it with dented metal boards and stuff that the normal ones drop all the time.
B2 is only available later in the game and it will be easier to get titanium alloy then. there will be bigger robots that reliably drop titanium alloy so you probably shouldn't spend too much time on farming this stuff before you get to that point.
So anyone played the jap version Nier Replicant?
I'm thinking of buying this for the PS3, as i read the Replicant version has better graphics then the normal Gestalt version.

Square has not one, but two Nier games in the works: one for Xbox, and one for PS3. Nier Replicant is being developed exclusively for PS3, and looks somewhat different from its Gestalt counterpart. Both games feature a white-haired protagonist named Nier, but Replicant's lead is a younger, slimmer and a bit more effeminate than the 360's lead character. Both stories have our hero(es) on a journey to save a family member: in Replicant, it's a sister, while in Gestalt, it's a daughter.
We're not entirely sure why Square Enix deemed it necessary to create two vaguely different versions of Nier for the two consoles. This new trailer does state that "peering into the mirror reveals yet another tale," so perhaps Square Enix fans will have to buy both versions of the game to get the whole story. We can't wait!
@deelix
what of the five endings did you get A B C D or E
I know of the two different versions. I just wanted to know if there are any graphical differences between the normal PS3 Gestalt and the PS3 Replicant version. Because i read somewhere the Replicant version has better graphics.

So is the OST flying around in the internets? (not requestion just want to know if my search is coming up empty because I'm too stupid or because it's just not there)
Yes it is, 2 CDs - 43 tracks. You need a better source
That's not the point. (found it by now, btw). But once I spent about 2 hours looking for a book (D&D 4e Player Handbook 3) until I found out it wasn't yet released. So I tend to ask around if I can't find it with a simple google search
I know that there's another ending for defeating the last boss with all weapons fully upgraded (that one is gonna take a while).
the B one you get simply for your second playthrough without doing anything special as far as I know.
not sure about the other one(s)
Likot Mosuskekim, Woodcutter cancels Sleep: Interrupted by Elephant.
how to get them writes in the achievement lists
Call Her Back - 100 points - You viewed the first ending (Ending A).
Lingering Memories - 100 points - You viewed the second ending (Ending B).
Thank You - 100 points - You viewed the third ending (Ending C).
Something Very Special - 200 points - You viewed the fourth ending (Ending D).
Lightspeed Fighter - 10 points - You completed the game within fifteen hours.
A B are on normal and normal PLUS
C D are on difficult and difficult PLUS
E (easter egg) is when you finish on difficult or normal in less then 15h

we tested both : story is the same except she is now your sister not your daughter, they only replaced th main hero model, resolution is the same, only thing we could find was one odd thing, they lowered even more the shadows resolution lod to add... wait for it... pixel shader water effects (on xbox360 water is a blue pulp) and those hdr light bloom spots are more bright on the PS3 ( one of our colleagues said maybe japs love lazors so much they piped the bight lights to add a new rave feature )
So, I'm guessing everyone's plaing AW or LP by now, but:
Spoiler:
So, maps, huh? Anyone heard about a good place to get one?
Spoiler:
Sure, the grocers sell them, in your home town from the Library side walk over the small bridge under the arches and immediately to your left is a tradesman selling maps as well as day to day goods.

Spoiler:
Can't seem to find it. So, the Village -> there are 5 merchants:
-the 1st sells herbs and "potions";
-the 2nd sells plants and seeds;
-the 3rd sells wool and logs;
-the 4th sells vegetable and fruits;
-the 5th weapons( I think he gave me the quest).
So I found this on a forum, thought some of you might want to know about it; especially if you plan on doing the other endings. So, check it out:
Spoiler:
Ending B - Just finish the game normal a second time.
Spoiler:
Additional scene after the credits
Ending C - get 100% wpns.
Spoiler:
The choice to end Kaine's life leads to ending C. You must have all the weapons before unlocking this ending.
You buy all wpns from all shops, you also get 2 wpns frpm quests.
~ 1 from the Damaged map quest
~ 2 from the King of Facades quest
~ a bunch of them you'll @ the world ( by finishing some main quests, or in crates along quest areas)
by then you should have 100% wpns
Ending D ~ Choose the 2nd option when prompted
Spoiler:
The choice to sacrifice yourself, and allow Kaine to live leads to ending D. You will be erased from existence. You must have all the weapons before unlocking this ending.
Make sure you are done with the game when you pick this. THERE IS NO GOING BACK, All your save games will be deleted, in all 3 slots. Or use another save device and remove it when you make that choice.
If you've already finished the game once (i.e. you got ending A), the above won't spoil anything for you. Actually even if you have not finished the game, I wouldn't call that a spoiler at all, but... meh, you get the option to view it or not. The mini-spoilers tags however - view those at your own risk.
LE: Btw, has anyone seen the OST, can't find it anywhere...
In general, because it was a very underrated game and reviews didn't do it justice.
It wasn't underrated, it was OK. The music was excellent, characters were good, graphics sucked hard, story and gameplay....hmmm...ok, but really nothing special.
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
