I'm gonna go for a 720p version, is there any reason to wait for one of the better groups releases ?.

What are your notebook's specs? You'd be surprised how much these babies can push. (I was!)

I'd wait for a proper, non-scene release. The 720p should be out very soon.

1280x800 and I'm pretty sure that my T7200 shouldn't have any problems displaying 1080p

Avatar.2009.1080p.BluRay.X264-AMIABLE look pretty good. I watched the sampler and it looks awesome. The size isn't that bad either. It has subs too. What do you guys think?

Only 8 Mbits.. I'm definitely waiting for one above 10. This movie deserves as much.

Proper 1080p (and 720p) encodes are being worked on. 720p encode will probably show soon enough (a few hours), but a 1080p will take time. These encodes are done by people who cherish nothing but the best quality possible, unlike the retarded scene which cares who releases it the fastest. Also, a Wiki (internal to a Chinese torrent tracker) release might show up faster than other non-scene encodes, because they seem to have someone very close either in manufacturing or distribution, because they seem to release very good 1080p encodes almost as fast as the scene.
So remember, this is a long movie, 16:9 and has a lot of fast moving scenes. Don't download the shit scene crap. Wait a little longer for the best versions (720p and 1080p).

was going to say that earlier... anything under 10 is a bit light for this length, BUT some groups can do quite a nice job at that size compared to others...
but whatever...im only getting the 1080 to fill the void until i buy the fucker anyway.
deluxe edition with na'vi head potted plant, naturally.
