Apparently the DLC is available from what I've read on a few sites, can't access the Steam forums and there's no changelist yet on their website so I can't confirm this.

Yea update for PC is out. It started downloading for me, but extreme slowly.

Yeah it's out and everything is fucking broken. Steam forums are down for hours, update is so slow and it breaks every 10 seconds and half of the fucking Steam is broken right now >.< /rage

Great, game keeps crashing for me after the update :/

Fresh reinstall did the trick, dlc is nice and a bit short, but good overall.

how big is this dlc, stupid fucking steam is buggy keeps downloading and says its 100%>..

Is it visible if I click "view downloadable content" in the my games tab?
Because there's nothing there.

It will download it automatically, and update the game with new menu options and the new campaign. As far as I know it does not display under "downloadable content" in the games tab.

just played the new campaign with my friends..
just like the one they released for the first game it's too short and amazingly unimpressive for taking such a long time to get released.
another disappointment from valve.

And there doesn't seem to be any dedicated server for realism versus or the new campaign. Only local hosted servers which most of the time just lag..
And i tought it would be more special when you see the humans from L4D1.

it was nothing special for sure. I suppose any scraps they (Valve) throw out nowadays for free, is all good though.. at least PC gamers didn't have to pay for this too. I would have been slightly gutted if I had bought this on a 360.
Unfortunately because this game is locked down and hard for modders to do anything of real significance with it, theres a lot of wasted potential left untapped with the l4d games.

I bought L4D2. Didn't play it much. I will dfinitely not buy another L4D in future, it's not my style. However I like Valve free updates, especially in TF2. Tons of fun new content for free...

The Passing was rubbish. Just really underwhelming. Felt so generic and didn't any any real memorable moments. Even finding the dead survivor was a bit under whelming because no one really reacted to it. The old Survivors didn't even mention it. After it was over all I felt was 'thats it?'.

As far as I can tell he's just not there.
(Unless I missed something) there was absolutely no mentioning of how/when he died O.o

Yes. I've spoken to a dev while we were playing and he said there will be more then one L4D 1 DLC.

They said that they are looking into it and that they want to improve that aspect so that it's much easier to implement custom content into the game and play it.
