I hope this time around there is NOT Triangle curves or damage to car missions !!!
Guess u crashed alot into others?
NO, NO, NO, NO, AND sometimes...
Nah, the "Car Missions" were crap because the car would get damage from nothing...They knew about this but never fixed it... ...
People complained but we never got them to fix the bugs...
yeah driving on the side of the road or on the grass totals your car but smashing in to the speed barrier didn't
i found that super stupid
Oh, the joy of car delivery missions. Leaving the road for a milisecond ruins your perfect score, but as said, frontal crash into the concrete walls of the higway would do nothing at all.
Test Drive Unlimited 2 details have dropped in the latest issue of GameReactor, confirming the game will take place on the Spanish party island of Ibiza. Big-fish-little-fish inclusion is unconfirmed at this time.
The magazine also mentions the sequel is 2.5 times bigger then the original (1800km of roads and 800 km of off road tracks), has added SUVs to the mix and now has a proper 24-hour day-night cycle.
Apparently the racer has a new co-op mode, where one person gets to be the driver while the other reads the map.
Developer Eden Studios added a damage model to the game as well
Using a motorbike, it took about 10-15 minutes to drive across Oahu, so that sound about right.

I hope they sort out the physics and the handling this time.
Huh? The game had tonns of problems, but the physics and the handling was not among them. It was the perfect blend between uber-arcade and realism and it was perfectly playable whichever method the player chose (keyboard, controller, wheels). AFAIK the hardcore mode had its fair share of things that would make Newton and Einstein weep, but overall, it was a pretty good drving game in terms of physics and handling.

I have no clue what you're talking about...
but ya... the physics / handling was fine in the normal mode...

Atari has released seven new previews of their upcoming Test Drive Unlimited 2 title that is due to be released this fall.
The new previews show several new cars including a first look at the car’s cockpits and a first glimpse at night racing.
Developed by Eden Games, Test Drive Unlimited 2 will enable players to race on the fully-modelled Balearic island of Ibiza. The island is 571.04 square kilometers in size and will feature over 20.000 kilometers of drivable roads.
Test Drive Unlimited 2 will be coming to the PC, the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 this fall. New features include the brand-new island of Ibiza, vehicle damage, weather and a full 24-hour day & night cycle.
Yes i found it too but this is impossible.Island will be 571.04 square kilometers this is equal to square 23x23km.It is just imposibble to have 20 000km roads in this kind of island with this dimension.
They said it will be 2,5 times bigger and not 20.000 km. So... oahu had around 1.500 km (and it's 3 times bigger than ibiza!). So this will have ~ 4000km of roads on a smaller island.

The game is set in the Mediterranean island of Ibiza with over 2,000 miles of roadway and back roads.

Its a good amount of roads indeed. This will be more fun then the first one, I cant wait. While looking around I found out they now have the license for Ferraris, so these will now be in TDU2.
I hope BMWs will also be included. The more different brands there are in the game, the better.
