Yep, it's him - his voice is also in Quake 4 as Pvt. Johann Strauss!
Don't mistake lack of talent for genius!

Delayed as to avoid competing with the release of Modern Warfare 2. |
Not so surprising, even if they are 2 completely different games.

Looks like a good high-budget shooter. I expect to have as much fun with this as I did with Timeshift, then uninstall and move on.

eh eh, it could be probable indeed, but dunno I have the sensation Raven won't fail with it.
Clearly I'm not expecting anything revolutionary, but I bet it will be fun and fairly polished as Wolfenstein is.

| Quote: | After pretty much avoiding our question about a possible delay for Singularity a few weeks ago, Activision Blizzard's financial conference call today finally got the publisher to admit that the temporal-themed first person shooter would indeed be coming out sometime in the second quarter of 2010.
Activision first slated the Raven Software-developed game to come out this fall but then pushed the game back to a first quarter 2010 release. When we noticed that game retailers had pushed Singularity's release date to June 2010 we emailed the publisher who oddly replied that they had not announced a release date for the game. With today's announcement we hope to get more info on the long-in-development title soon. |

And i thought there was fresh news at hand. Hate when someone bumps up a thread with no new posts in it for a month or so just to share in something irrelevant.

PC will probably come out on a later date. When ever they have the time to quickly port it over.

The look looks good and ideas seem to be innovative. I just hope raven doesn´t screw up again.

Yeah, wolfestein, wolverine was ok but not mind blowing.
I mean... compared these two games which were release in 2009 to the days of Soldier of Fortune, Heretic II and ST Voyager... Raven is not what it used to be. Hope they can regain the trust of gamers this time.

It's coming for the pc and probably at the same time as the console version, since Raven mentioned last year that they are doing a pc version AND if you look at the official site there is a nice PC DVD Rom Logo next to the console logos.
Ps. The latest Wolfenstein was not so bad as a lot of people say Imho. Did it suffer from Consolitis? Yes, it definitely did but the game was still fun without being original, it's just a solid Old fashion shooter. Ironically, the thing that suck about the game is born out of the console lovers wet dreams, namely Open world gameplay which is just repetitive as hell, I'll bet that if Raven had stuck to the old formula and made the game a linear shooter without that city Hub it would have worked much better.
Pps. I'm not against Open world game play as long as it is done right like Assassin's Creed 2, and Imho not every game need to be open world.

Based on this article or rather the latest update to it - http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/63368 (About the release date as discussed above.) it seems the console version might be out first and then maybe followed by a PC version.

Err..In my book assassins creed 1 or 2 for much that i like the care taken into the story and locations, its nothing like "open World" concept. To that extend only games like arena, marrowind, oblivion, fallout3 and stalker (to name a well known few), fit.
