think again!!! just because AC2 works fine using that emu server its no where near easy!!
UBI changed a few things with Settlers7 and a working emu server for that has NOT been worked out yet. BUT that MAY change for Splinterer Cell Conviction, as its more popuar.
Finding the correcy values pairs may be more of a struggle, just like S7 is, IF they change how it send out that info.
That's exactly what I think too. A picture of a presumably fake copy of SCC does not mean that DRM will be cracked soon.
I bet it won't be cracked soon...
However, bypassing 5hours long game should take much less time finding the value pairs compared to Assassin's Creed.
Now, that there's a server emulator anyway.
Of course it wont be cracked soon when its not out yet
The ac2 method actually needs people to play the original game to crack it
I think that's pretty clear for anyone to expect it won't be out before official release day. What I meant is that I don't think it would be cracked soon after official release day.
I for one would not expect it to being cracked before release day even if it had disk check. Rarely games get cracked/released before official launch nowadays...

It's just my expectation mate...I don't really care if it gets cracked/bypassed one day or 10 years after release. Either way I wouldn't go buy it. There are many other games (that I even already played/finished) that deserve to be bought than this...game. Though seeing its protection fail shortly after release would only bring a grin to my face and make me feel happy
lol apparently you missed Batman, Wolfenstein, ME2 and DA:O being released days or almost a week before street date
But I do agree in this DRM case any progress will be made after street date. But unlike Settlers it will probably be figured out faster if it's even slightly similar to AC2. Bigger fanbase, more users who would want to figure it out etc.

Yeah well...Wolfenstein I don't know, don't remember. Batman had some issues if I recall correctly and Dragon Age was released merely few hours before release day. ME2 is exception.
Who cares, some games get cracked before official release day, but it's not like it used to be few years back.
Any word on how coop is gonna be on the PC?I'm guessing split-screen is totally out of question and playing online might be impaired...maybe I should just get this for the 360,at least I won't have to put up with this silly protection system
That wall already deserves +20 only because it has dungeon keeper. Where is our goddamn dungeon keeper remake.
So you want them to make a remake with slight modifications (like making it a 3D shooter ) to make it streamlined for accessibility for mainstream retards? Why?
What you are describing is a demake, not a remake. I want exactly the same game only with it updated to current gen technology, without losing its depth. Stop putting the words into my mounth

It'll be Online (Ubi servers/matchmaking, no dedicated servers/direct ip or stuff like that) and LAN according to Ubisoft, no splitscreen.

Perhaps you've been living under a rock for the last ~8 years, and don't know what developers and publishers mean by "remake" these days. Depth and console "gamers" don't go along these days, don't you know?
I hope there will be some way to play this over lan (emulated) :S
If you want some way better done interrogations (in terms of actual gameplay, not "press 1 button and forget about it" like in SCC) play The Punisher from 2005.
Im not talking about interogations/torturing only, it looks good graphics wise, reviews are not that bad, and coop looks very promising I dont care that its not the same SC
Finished it today on 360. It was good for it's genre.
I tried the first spliner cell and wasn't much to my taste, I skipped the rest of them as well. Finally decided to try this one. Even I can see it's more action oriented now, but it fits me better now I guess, as I managed to finish it.
I haven't tried co-op yet however, and everyone says that's the best. Campaign is short, but theres replay value to try to get the achievements and try out different approaches to completing the missions.
But I'm an RPG gamer in heart, any FPS/TPS/action/stealth/etc game is just something to kill the time until a good RPG comes out. So I'm not sure how my opinion of this game should count.
