Farcry 5/10 Nice graphics but bloody boring

Huh? The first FarCry was awesome. I didn't find it boring at all. The SECOND one sucked balls though.

The 2nd would be better with a no respawn mode. That and no fucking annoying malaria.

Yeah I played the game with a trainer - just for no malaria and save location. Before going on a mission, save your location, go to the mission spot, do it and teleport right back. SO much better without the needless driving back and forth (which meant stopping at every guard spot since you couldn't escape from them once they started chasing).

Are you running Lords of the Realm 2 on DOSBox?

No, I actually bought it from good old games a while back. Got both 1 and 2 for 4.99 total. Plays without the need for dosbox that way.

The Saboteur. Smile I have it installed since December 2009 but I've never finished it (to be honest, I was still at the second level, just after the prologue Laughing)

Yeah I wanted to give Saboteur second chance. It looked like a decent game, but unfortunately there were lot of games back then, so I abandoned it Smile

Are you enjoying it ixigia?

I've only just started playing it, had to stop earlier due to lack of subtitles - which meant I couldn't hear the audio over my rowdy wife and her friend Laughing

Yes, a lot. =) It isn't an extremely polished game (especially the driving model, which is very similar to The Godfathers' one), but I'm finding the story interesting so far, as well as the characters, the setting (Ahh..Paris^^) and the innovative artistic style. Also, the gameplay is quite solid, a mix between GTA and Assassins Creed, since you have the possibility to explore the entire city and climb up every single palace (Eiffel Tower included). Smile

i really liked saboteur too
was a bit surprised for it to be completely ignored everywhere
it's probably the only game i can think of where i actually like doing the useless 'collection' missions - in this case destroying guard towers etc
or doing certain achievements as they offer actual gameplay value as reward.. like stealth killing five ss generals awards you a silent backstab
i just have to force myself from using the hiding spots
using them would make the game so easy it would be like cheating
much more fun to escape nazis racing through paris or running across rooftops anyway

Booted up Rome Total War for some reason recently. Planning another playthrough of Deus Ex 1, maybe even 2.

So Saboteur was actually good? I never gave it a chance either because there were so many other games out at the time.
