I still cant get SHIELD release to work. Ive closed every app that uses internet (except AV), I did all steps which are stated in nfo, but still I get error that I should check my internet connection, hosts file is edited and its not read-only. I have W7 x64 if someone want to know.

Was it the game update or the Ubisoft Game launcher update? UGL should be version 117 or something

Bad login? Hm. Did you re-block all the right addresses in the hosts file? Turn off online saving in the UGL (the star shaped thingy near the minimize buttons)?

Is your firewall blocking anything? Disable it to test.
Your HOSTS file should look like this: Spoiler: | Code: | # Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost

I had same problems, after some checking, I found out, that some noob from my LAN connected to my :80 port. So before you start the server.exe, unplug or disable your internet, start the server, then the game..

Why wait, you can play it freely now, cause you can do everything and collect everything up to sequence 6, at least thats how far in i got. Everything worked, and with the pace new values are added it will be 100% soon.

Is cs.rin.ru down or sth?
If you have white screen after collecting seal in Novella church in Venice (6th one):
I tried to collect it while at sequence 9 and I got white screen, but I did it with no problems if I tried that at sequence 10, so you can try it.

I don't know if you fixed it, but try the values by AC2clearing. I downloaded the most recent ones from that guy doing it in cs.rin.ru and got some weird connecting issue too.
