You have to install 3 programs to make it PARTIALLY work, python2.0.1, pcrypto, xampp
It emulates a server on your PC, and apparently gets past first animus screen, but halts at the baby screen. ( users are saying it works to get past the first hurdle but not much farther, an update is needed. )
Torrent already out for it with a direct link to that board, and topic.. gonna be a ton of newbies asking how to install / edit files needed...

Wow, one hell of an effort for an april's fools joek, if it's a joke.
EDIT: yeah, from what I can gather, the server itself is working, but all the needed server-side data is missing except the first three entries (check out values.db). Nice effort tho.

rld rls for cnc4 uses server emulator. scene hasnt release this because p2p hasnt cracked it yet  |

taken from that cs.rin.ru forum:
Values now work until after you leave chistine’s house(sequence1).
all is needed is basically someone who completes the game WHILE getting trace of all the protocol messages the game send to ubifail.com.
when the db file will be completed the game will be fully enjoyable with that little serveremu.

I actually picked this up back in January for $35 for the PS3 (Now 1 of 2 games I own for it) shortly after I lost my job and had nothing better to do than sit around and play video games all day. I was looking forward to this game so it would be killing me waiting for a full release because I sure as hell wouldn't buy it with the DRM they put on the PC version.
Now it's an achievement if I do anything more than lay on the couch, scratch my balls, and watch sponge bob all day.
P.S. Any jobs leads requiring any of the three skills above would be appreciated.

As soon as those pre scene db sites pick it up, its real (and those are pretty damn quick). A random site releases such names and its fake most likely.
