I'd say wait until patch 1.9 (or whatever the grind reduction patch is). Then, the game should be great. I got a lvl 30 gladiator on Aion EU and the game is quite cool, except for the grind.

I have a lvl 50 Assassin and after 6 months I got bored. There isn't any endgame content. The only thing you have at lvl 50 is Dredgion ( it's like a Arena 6 vs. 6 ), Fortress sieges ( lagfest ), group pvp ( or = ganking ppl ) and of course you can grind, grind, grind, grind, grind and grind untill you can craft the best armor ( Fenris ) ... It failed every time for me. I already gave up. ( I have a spare EU-key for you if you want it. PM me with your email + nickname ) this is my SIN: don't waste your time with aion. Right now i am playing Mass Effect 1 & 2 ...great games.

i played on infiniteaion for a while. got bored. im sure even if it was retail and not missing a bunch of shit, id still be bored with it. i just dont think mmo's are my thing... im only EVER in them for the bling. i have a collection fetish, so i love games with drops and customisation... but that only lasts so long (up until the devs fuck up the drop rate to hell or whatever) and then i get bored of the grindyness and the shitty combat. counter-strike or tf2 on the other hand... still playing the shit outa those
