A lot to read, but a lot of collected information of the fantastic heap of bullshit that is going on in USA & Canada. Yes, I know there are rotten eggs like this in most, if not all countries, and probably a lot of idiots on the other side of the fence aswell. But this is, to me atleast, staggering.

Instead of finding what's wrong with the republicans, I would prefer seeing what's good about the current democrat government, with the "high expectations" boy and Nobel peace prize winner Obama.
All I see is the American economy going further downwards and a chaotic, most weak and stupid foreign policy.

Admit it, you are raging against Obama because he is pressuring Bibi to behave rationally instead of allowing him to descent to religious fanaticism. Laughing

You only say that because Israel is dependent on USA spending billions on supporting Israel in various ways. Cool Face

There are stuff beyond Israel in this world.
Like the NKR threatening to use nukes against the south and the US and Iran continuing to push on their nuclear program untouched.

Jews and Christians playing in the sand,
made by gods almighty hand,
I look at you, you look at me,
for there is nothing else see.

the politics I get, it's all the other stuff in our lives I don't understand. You live, you die, and hopefully in between, try and not piss too many people off and have a good time.

All the rest is filler.

blaming obama is stupid. He was elected when the shit had hit the fan already.

i was in the us last week and was surprised to hear the reps on the radio and on tele. You can be against something, you can make your point, but dont do retarded. Comparing socialized medicine with hitler or musilini (because both were socialists) is retarded and just polarizes the country further into more hatred.

It is clear that absence of regulation did not work. US went throught the biggest economical shit ever, have a crippled health care, have corrupt bankers. And still people are calling reforms 'socialism' with a devlish connotation. What is the solution then?

People are not stupid, especially the youth with brains, and they see that politicians swing their opinion to gain some votes in some parts of the population. Politicians do not have an opinion, they have an opinion that gives them most of the votes. They should know better... /they should form the opinion of the people, educate them, give solutions to their problems, try to improve the country, make hard decisions, not following the opinion of the people. Or to use the hitler shit again, hitler was elected as well, but the people turned out to be wrong...

We all want loads of money with no effort. Screaming this will gain loads of votes, but long-term uberbad solution. But this bullshit is not only @republicans, also @ dems. anyway, as a european, i have the feeling that the reps are doing stupid things, and all of the world knows it except the us.

i saw palin on tele today "lets fight the progressives". Well in the land of the free and the land of opportunities... if there were no progressives, we'd all still be playing in the sand now with no tools or no fire or modern utilities. You cannot scream to go back in time (with religion for example or wanting deregulation...) as a method to gain votes from people who are afraid of change. That is cheap, stupid, and certainly not good for your country.

The facts are there, the gap between rich and poor is becoming ever bigger. The level of science is lowering. The economic power is going down. Asia and latin america are becoming ever bigger. I do think a progressive mind would come in handy when business as usual is not working. Especially in this modern world where science/innovation sectors are the primary expansion sectors left. So stop fighting for votes and get a clear opinion, stick with it, base your opinion on facts and have adult discussions with dems.

my 2 cents.

It's very clear that this propaganda about communism and socialism and the rest of the shit is very clearly orchestrated by corporate America who doesn't want to lose money, and the retard republicans (the people who elect, not the politicians) are such idiots to believe it. How dumb do you really have to be? You see redneck idiots without teeth yelling national healthcare is communist... Laughing

"I grew up in a profoundly Republican home, so I can remember when you wore a very different face than the one we see now. "

lol, what a give away, liberal troll at work, he actually links to other liberal (as opposed to unbiased) websites to support his arguments!

I too remember a time when socialist Labour wore a very different face than the one we see now, they may LOOK different but a blind rabid wolf is still a blind rabid wolf no matter that you dress him up as a meek 'enlightened' lamb.
