I would if it somehow gave me no pleasure. But poor analogy choice.

Like I said "never thought that I'll miss Mako". Bioware should've tweaked a bit Mako controls and that's it. But, wait! They've removed the exploration completely, instead of making it more interesting. And I love exploring ( I've done that since my Ultima/Wizardry/Might and Magic days). The Exploration reminded me of the "innovative" Storm of Zehir. If anyone believes that Obsidian did anything by it's own in SoZ, he's deluded. When a game is subcontracted, the subcontractor it's given certain lines to work within or even a complete design document ( the case of HOMM5 created by Nival). Same happened to SoZ and someone at Bioware thought to recycle that s...y idea in ME2, making any trace of exploration utterly useless.
I wonder why Bioware refused to give the community the modding tools for Jade Empire and ME?! Oh wait, for ME series they've wanted to release those "incredible" and "meaningful" DLC's....

Quote: | Reason: The new Normandy is bigger and heavier to do tactical insertions ergo that why we have a transporter.
Real reason: Bioware has learned to bend over for every moron that doesn't know how to drive the fucking vehicle and wines about it on the forum (boring exploration aside). |
Wait right there. Are you implying that driving the Mako was "hard"?
I can tell you that it was simply fucking boring.
Okay-okay, it was fun to explore a planet with your vehicle the first and the second time - maybe even the 5th and 7th time, but after 10 times of driving through empty landscapes it became the equivalent to that glorious ressource gathering in ME2...
Just. Boring.
Now look at the side missions in ME2 - they all are innovative and add something new.
In ME1 they re-used³ exactly 2 maps over and over and over again.
Now we have variety.
Heck, it even runs faster while looking better an my ATi GPU.

I agree. Many people here are looking back at ME1 with rose-tinted glasses.
And I predicted pages ago that the Hammerhead DLC wasn't going to be anything special. It was unrealistic to expect a whole new exploration mode from a single DLC. DLCs always add tidbits of stuff. The more content they announce in a single package (OMG 5 missions!), the shallower it'll be.
I don't expect Kasumi to be any more interactive than Zaeed. Almost certainly not sexable. If by some bizarre consequence of planetary alignment she is, it'll be the shittiest sex scene ever.

Kasumi is not romanceable, bioware already told that on the forums.

Kasumi is nothing-able actually. Just like Zaeed, she will stand there and mumble to herself, no real dialog. Is it so hard to bring in the Shepherd voice actors and record a few lines?

shit as i said before, id be happy if they just rang the person up and they phoned it in.. i mean no-ones expecting it to be fucking epicly powerful dialog or anything... but just a couple of lines of dialog would make it feel part of the story and integrated into the game, instead of some surreal 'addition' like a twilight zone episode or some shit, were everything just feels kinda 'off'.
but whatever, theyre just 'free' additions to extend the game a little longer... oh well.

So today around 17.00 GMT we'll have the answer for the countdown that appeared on Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 sites. More "meaningful" DLC's?! An announcement about a ME2 expansion? A date for DA2? Speculations are flying around.

Apparently it's just some stupid "community event" and has nothing to do with announcing new IP or DLC etc.

And it will say something like: "we've finally managed to alienate the old Bioware fans. Long live the EA/Bioware new fanboys ".

Too early for trailers. DA2 and ME3 are supposed to come out next year, so, no, i don't think we'll see trailers so soon.

I dunno, it says community event so it can't be something special about games, probably some more socializing crap or user generated content. Boring.
