Lost Planet 2 & Super Street Fighter IV Release Date - A press release announces May 18th launch for Lost Planet 2 (simultaneous PC release unconfirmed), and an April 27th launch for Super Street Fighter IV.

Lost Planet 2 was originally expected to launch before the end of March, but the publisher pushed it back to May 18 in order to avoid an unusually potent assortment of high-profile competition. To whet players' appetites for the game, Capcom also announced that it will release a new multiplayer demo of the game on the Xbox 360 April 21 and on the PlayStation Network April 22. The 16-player versus mode demo will include a single map, as well as chat support and stat tracking features.
Lost Planet 2 is set 10 years after the original, following substantial terraforming on EDN III that replaced the frigid tundra with large swaths of lush forests. Its campaign will follow the protagonist and three non-player characters through six chapters, each of which will have multiple outcomes that hinge on players' actions. |
Might be a bit old.
Anyways, do we know if they're planning to keep cross-platform play? I want to get this on pc, but I also want to play with some 360 buddies.

All capcom in-house games took pretty much that time.
Devil May Cry 4
Street Fighter IV
Resident Evil 5
Only Bionic Commando was delayed 1 month -cause it wasnt in-house and dark void has a simulaneous release cause .... well.... cause it sucked lol.

just finish first game and damn that was bad everthing from story to really bad looking models and voice acting so this second have to be much better on everything

jump of a bridge, lost planet was awesome game, one of very first with dx10, story was more than fine.. i loved the game

put it this way...... the game sucks, and as an owner of both an x360 and a gaming pc, i say.... it was a waste of bandwidth and a verbatim d/l dvdr..... lets leave it at that.....or, in a less than ten word review, "star wars battlefront but in the lost planet universe" i recommend any one, not just x360 owner, but pc owner... stay away from this mediocre game

Lolwat. As long as the full game offers more of the same gameplay we got in the demos, I'm more than happy.

uhm well to translate this.... imagine L4D as a sci-fi game but with more more more more more more more drep bots if you play the single player campaign forcing you to have 4 friends playing this if you want to have any fun... so the frustration of the pirate console crowd is we play it off line and we see how fucking bad it is
