This game looks great, finally got it to run, had to move the install folder to other dir.
Anyway, the fun of the game imo is the exploring and blowing stuff up, but I really hate the missions, any way to just skip the missions altogeher and go on with the exploring?
ehhmm it's not like u forced to do missions
No??
If I try to leave a specific area it says I'm leaving the mission area and reloads the game from last checkpoint automatically...

Finish or abort the mission, and you'll have your free run. But you'll need to finish a couple of missions first. I think you can free roam after the Casino one.
Catalyst AI controls game specific tweaks and changes and is recommended to always be enabled aside from troubleshooting purposes, for 10.3 (Or the 10.3a version.) ATI also released a updated version of their profile program which has update for Just Cause 2 in both single and multi GPU configuration modes.
Am I the only thinking that Revolver ammo is in short supply?
So far I've seen 3 enemies carry a revolver and it's annoying to buy the gun all the time to fill up ones ammo.
But it's an awesome weapon nonetheless.
I thought those profiles were only beneficial to Crossfire systems, do they even work with a single GPU?
Found this, which is mostly Crossfire profiles, but does have a couple for single GPUs. However, I don't know where they're supposed to show up after the installation.
hmmm...played a bit...nice game all in all...a lot of fun...also i saw somewhere a fix that has been released for parachute problems...whats that? in my version nothing wrong...just curious

Yeah, those are the same profiles that are available for download on the AMD Catalyst page. Interesting though, that this post mentions single card profile for JC2, but officially they are listed as Crossfire only...you'd think AMD would want to give more accurate info on their site.

Yeah, precisely the reason why I didn't bother using it / upgrading it at all. SMG & Grenade Launcher with the Assault Rifle (Sniper Rifle is pretty worthless, Rocket Launcher's nice but ammo's too rare and same with that MG) as the weapon on the back and the only ammo I have to worry about is the launcher - the rest is plentiful from the enemies.
The weapon costs are a bit high for handguns imo - could've at least had ammo drops if you had the weapon already and just wanted to replenish your ammo.

Seeing that this was his own post, I am sure he is aware that he is right
Also: Installed those Ati profiles... it is hard to say if there was any performance improvement on a single 5870. If there was, it was no more than 5 fps, unless I am missing something.

From what I understand, those profiles do bugger all for single ATI configs, only for crossfire will you notice any sort of speed increase or performance gain.
Well that is how I understand it as well. This was discussed a few posts above. However it is said that those profiles include one for a single GPU as well, so I was confused and figured I'd try and see for myself.
Can you make this game hard (challenging), or is it just what it looks like, GTA on crack ? (and god mode)
I play only on normal difficulty (2nd easiest, 4 difficulties total) and it's very possible to get overwhelmed and die. The enemies spawn randomly around you (not the most elegant solution really, kinda hate it ) so if you just run around aimlessly they'll shoot you down pretty fast.
something i am really puzzled about (i guess i am just to stupid or absent minded lol) where is the black market guy and the "sloth demon" dude who keeps telling me he can drop me off or whatever?

You'll find out soon enough. It's quite early in the story actually.

Could be wrong though
The profiles are for SLI only changes... wont do shit to a single cards setup..
