Did some quick screens to compare the SSAO levels... Difference between off and low is quite noticeable, but moving on from there to higher levels I didn't see any difference at all with no apparent impact on the framerate either.
Turning it off gives me a gain of a little less than 10 fps, but input response seems a tiny bit more precise without it. As if SSAO introduces an extremely small, barely noticeable input lag.
gametrailers, god they are console fanboys. He praises the game all the way through the review and yet it gets an 8, lol probably because it didnt have a modern warfare prefix in the games title.
Reviews have sucked for a while, this is how reviews shoud be based:
1. Bad

My saves are no where, Esc+Save Game it tells me Save Failed
No saves in the game dir, None in Documents\Square Enix\Just Cause 2\Saves just my settings file
if you installed over rld release and selected .../just cause 2 folder, it will install into .../just Cause 2/Just Cause 2
thats why.
I haven't even downloaded the reloaded release, I just downloaded the SKIDROW, installed it, copied crack, and when I try to run the .exe it doesn't run....

you mean , copied over ALL files in /SKIDROW folder , right ? If so, still verify, if there isn't a "Just Cause 2" Folder INSIDE your "Just Cause 2" Folder.

And you aren't running Windows XP, right ?

its ok i get the same ive got 3 steamstart files appeared and even a save in the root directory as well in the proper save folder lol..
Am I missing something?
Do I need to take any extra step?
Here's what I did.
1)Download Skidrow release :duh:
2) Mounted it and installed it, even installed the directx and VB runtime at the end.
3)Copied crack to location.
4)try to run it over and ov er again.
NOTHING!!!

Downloaded reloaded release, installed, copied over reloaded crack folder played it worked fine apart from later saves seem to not er save..
then i downloaded the extra pc4 file and steam dll etc that was uploaded by JB..
copied them over..
Downloaded skidrows crack only off usenet, copied over everything in there ontop of the reloaded release..
Run game via justcause2.exe, game still started launcher for language choice.. accepted the english entry there and game starts instantly.
Game saves and works fine, but i do get those steamstart files appear at times as i said earlier.. but they are like 3kb in size so wont worry too much.
