PC gamers don't say "I ain't interested in dat shit if it ain't on PC"? The guy probably has only a PS3 or Xbox. Why would he be interested in a PC game?

If he is not interested why watching a trailer and then saying he's not interested? That's just retarded.

I....I don't even know what to say about that comment...Typical retarded, 12 year old console fanboy. It makes me fucking RAAAAGEEE. FFFFFFFUUUUUUUU-
P.S. Sadly, GameTrailers is full of idiots and idiots making retarded comments |
Whats so sad about gametrailers beeing packed with tards i find that to be part of it's charm, endless comedy. And seeing as the site is owned by Mtv one should probably not expect anything less. |
GameTrailers is owned by MTV? Isn't it owned by SpikeTV? |
From Wiki:
Owner MTV Networks (Viacom)
"In 2007, MTV Networks restructured its entertainment division, merging Ifilm.com and SpikeTV.com into Spike.com, and grouping this new property, GameTrailers, and Xfire, into Spike Digital Entertainment, with Jon Slusser as the new SVP in charge, Geoff Grotz as VP of Product Development, and Brad Winters as the new GM of Gametrailers.com.[3"

I have high expectations of this game, but damn was that trailer bad. Is that how you hype your game? Pathetic really. Well atleast they didn't use Marilyn Manson for the music.

the game, dont get me wrong, looks great - but this was a pretty poorly made trailer... didnt have that epic feel. go check out the launch trailer for me2 to see how a trailer SHOULD be done.
game looks wicked though, cant wait for it. |
Haha, yea indeed! These guys (CD Red Projekt) express the reverse of today's companies/developers trend, delivering crappy advertising/marketing and awesome products.
Usually it's the other way around: awesome trailers/presentation and crap game/product.

One of the polish sites just reported that one of the devs mentioned a general release date on the official witcher forums - it'll happen in the first quarter of 2011, it would seem. Other sources speak of the end of 2010, though. Possibly, more info will be available later today, or at the very least at the press conference this thursday - when TW2-AoK will be officially announced. I'll post here if any specifics are given.

Dang. maybe I'm missing something but I thought the new trailer was pretty awesome! A serial killer on the loose tormenting kings? Looks like a great antagonistic for Geralt. Really surprised by the negative feedback!

Trailer was rather mediocre, but the actual gameplay fragments look really neat. It can't come soon enough, really.

In case anyone missed the hidden message in the trailer.
| Quote: | This message is for our biggest fans. Analyzing our stuff pixel by pixel, bit by bit. It's good to see you again!
BTW: Simple minded people think that nobody is reading these days. Dear reader of this, we think that we can agree that it is bullshit, huh?
Same as the fact that single player RPGs are dead, or PCs?
We sold 1.5 mil. units from a dying genre on a dying platform-so we somehow cannot agree.
Before we start talking about TW2:) Please let us thank you for your great support and appreciation.
It always motivates us and makes us happy.
We started working on TW2 right after the release of TW. Our goal was to create all the things which made TW so great in TW2 even better.
We are very proud of TW, but let's be honest, it was our debut. We never made any games before, and we practically learned as we worked.
So there were many things which could be done better, you know it as well as we do.
But the vision, the main concept remain the same: A game with mature, captivating, nonlinear story, and full of spectacular combat.
A game created by a team of independent thinkers immune to corporate priorities, who don't care what's trendy at any given moment.
The core vision of the game hasn't changed. What has changed is the quality and the maturity we can deliver. That's largely because we're more experienced, and also due to the fact that we've created our own technology.
Do you remember how we made significant improvements with the Aurora Engine in the original game, but it still had its limitations?
Now we've created technology designed specifically to create nonlinear games with extensive plotlines and a living world...
Well, there's no point in expanding on that too much-you have to check our tech yourselves!
Nevertheless we have many reasons to believe that you will like The Witcher 2!
See you soon and stay tuned. |

instabuy when i see the special edition with medallion keychain (only the motherfreakin poles got one last time round, so theyd BETTER do it for all of us next time, because id LOVE to have a wolfshead medallion keychain, thatd be sweeeeeeeeeeeeet)
also, i REALLY REAAAAAAALLLLLY hope they put together another EXCELLENT art book again like they did last time - so rare to get such a comprehensive and enjoyable art book in a special edition (most times its like a fucking tiny shitty 8 page flimsy booklet with like 5 drawings and a couple of fucking screenshots in it)
but i hope they put together a good making-of dvd this time round. the one they made for the first game was REALLY shit... absolutely terrible.. even the 'updated' EE one was poor.

I just read this. I love Cdproject more and more every day And i just bough my first 2 games at GOG.com the other day (another nice thing made by cdproject) and I own the Limited Edition of the Witcher (The big black box) and I'm definitely gonna get The Witcher 2 when it arrives
It's so nice to see a developer being contend with 1.5 million units sold (plus steam sales and so on), and this can be done because the team isn't based in the US and expect to live like Royalty because they release a good game (The US is gonna learn this the hard way if they don't change their course because the Chinese are coming)
