Skidrow wont even launch, I select English and nothing, I just get a JustCause2_Game.exe.3288 file in the program folder

Did you copy Steam_Api.dll over along with Language.txt?
(Perhaps Reloaded's files would work, language.txt would at least as it just defines the language used outside of Steam.)

Yep exact same problem for me it generates those same files for me too. Tried doing everything I can think of to get it to work.

It created those files for me as well, unsure what they actually do but the game started after I waited for a few seconds.

You copied the cracked files over again and it started working, is that what you mean? I tried doing that myself and still it does not load.

Is it bad to have a legit Steam account active while playing this game? As in, does the game itself check in with Steam even with the cracks active?

I dont even have steam installed atm. And game works fine.

Copied everything. Get the steamstart files doesn't launch.

Same issue here. Win7 x64, reloaded release runs, but skidrow release won't launch at all. Tried running as administrator and disabling desktop compositing, but neither helped.

If you're on Vista/7, when an application tries to write to certain locations (such as Program Files), it will redirect them to your user's VirtualStore (a way of countering badly written applications). To get around this, run the installer as an administrator as stated.
If you tried to install it to Program Files/etc and not as an admin, check C:\ProgramData or C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore.

I had the Reloaded release first, then got the Skidrow one and both worked without problems. Completely deleted the Reloaded one before installing the Skidrow release including the settings file located in my documents/square enix/just cause2/saves. running win7 x64

i got rld release, installed as admin to c:\games, copied skidrow crack and missing pc4 files from jbeckmans archive. Ran JustCause2.exe as admin and all works fine. Using 197.03 NV drivers and physix from metro2033.
ed: bokeh filter settings are available too.

Yeah that's probably not a good idea to have Steam running legit in the background, connected and authenticated while you are playing a cracked steamworks game. Bad idea.

If you wanna run the BOLOPatch then you cant use the Skidrow crack, only works on the Reloaded version..
As skidrow renamed the exe and called it via a loader, renaming it just dont work, i tried a few ways round, but no luck :/
If anyone has a work around would appreciate it...

Works fine here with Skidrows crack and "bolo", it's just the usual Just Cause 2.exe file and Steam_API.dll and that extra language.txt file to set localization, no loader or anything.
