works. I used alcohol 52, since I got fed up with DT bloated crap years ago. (i know alcohols got its share too)
graphics can be ok, but performance is poor if system resources are low, telling me its a resource hog, or poorly optimized.
I thought the tv show was stupid, but unlike the show I actually like the premise of a prison setting for a game, gives u a reason to do a bunch of stupid missions.
Anyway, this might have been ok but the technical problems kill it. Example when u run the camera wants to recenter its self almost constantly. And even though you remap keyboard controls the 'action sequences' where you have to hit various keys to complete the sequence, use some unmappable keys. Example in the default keymap there is no key bound to 'E' or 'space' and even though you remap all availible controls the 'action sequences' require you to hit these keys (among others) causing you to scramble for some key on the otherside of the keyboard. I think u get the picture. Sometimes the AI doesnt perform tasks they should, like opening doors and leaving at the end of some sequence, or someone moving out of your way so you can get by them. Replaying sometimes solves the problem, sometimes you might need to replay the part three or four times before the AI does what they should. Lack of polish there.
There is a weak RPG element. The hand to hand combat was refreshing. The stealth element was a bit weak too.
All things considered, file this one under 'Games that could have been...' (good)
If you have already wanked off, and stubbed ur toe and have nothing better to do with ur afternoon, grab this title.

Bloated? Wow. dtlite is using 484k for me know. 9.5mb with something mounted. hardly what I would consider bloated.
Is anyone really surprised this game was bad? I mean, c'mon, how many games based on movies or tv shows have been good?

Just so understand what I meant, I was not refering to memory usage.
DAEMON Tools v3.47 August 2004 installation pkg 493kB installed size 590kB
No addons or extra crap
DAEMON Tools Lite v4.35.5 October 2009 installation pkg 8.74MB installed size 14.29MB
Tries Calls home as soon as you launch setup
Wants to install browser toolbar
Wants to set Daemon Tools as the default search provider
Wants to change browser home page to Daemon Tools
Tries to call home again during installation
Finally tries to launch browser to call home once install is finished
And from what people write about it, it has adware. IDK cause I didnt actually let it run itsself. Who knows what it calls home about.

No toolbars, no home page crap, no adware, no muss, no fuss
Lets face it when DT went commercial they went to crap. Hey, I get it, they had to turn a profit. But I have to think about myself as well.
I ran DT a really long time. I'm glad you like DT, you should keep using it.
