Hmmz.....
Okay, installed over uncracked DO:A + cracked DLCs + respec mod. Awakening installed and crashed at 99% with an addons.xml error.
Launched Awakening with the Razor crack and the game imported my character and works fine, except my DLC items like Dragon Armor etc are missing. Any ideas???

Hmm, didnt install the DLC. It seems my character was wearing quite a lot of DLC gear, because he started out with very little indeed. Guess that's the downside. Loving it so far.

You lose all DLC items upon the start of Awakening, or so I believe.

Gotta admit, I'm impressed with the depth of the character importation system.
Spoiler: | My first save I was married to Anora, and she greeted me as her husband.
My second save I had made Alistair marry Anora after saving Loghain. Alistair was still pissed at me it seems (Jesus Christ, get over it already.) |

About DLC items stuff:
It seems that Stone Prisoner and Return to Ostagar stuff is kept properly, but Warden's Keep stuff is missing when starting Awakening (this includes Starfang, as well as Warder Armor). Even special abilities from that DLC will not function properly, anymore.

That is what the devs said would happen (designed like that), which is total BS.

Does anyone have buggy codex if importing old character (new ones should be ok)?
SOLVED:
Temporary issue. Next reload will remove the bug. Still, it happens every time you start new awakening game with imported character.
.
On another issue:
How to remove empty Warden Keep's abilities?
Save the game. Disable Warden's Keep DLC. (Force) Load the game, save again. You can enable Warden Keep afterward. After this, Awakening save will be purged of any leftover Warden Keep's info (like empty blood talents).

Is this expansion worth a reinstall of the original game? How long and big is it?

They are still in placed in hotbar, and still have icon, but using them doesn't do anything (just plays animation), their descriptions are empty and at talent tree UI, their strings are missing.
Anyway, just as items from Warden's Keep items disappeared, anything else related to Warden Keep doesn't work.

Someone wanna recommend me a good build for a warrior? Thinking of going with a two handed broadsword, which attributes are good for a warrior?
Created one yesterday with:
45 str
25 Con
18 dex
23 will
14 cunn
But he ended up missing alot of hits because of the low dex so thinking of upping that abit.
Dont mess with God, he can impregnate your girlfriend/wife without taking his pants off!

You need high dex and str. I would put str jut enough to be able to take all important talents (42?), and everything else in dex (maybe some in cunn, for skills, if needed).
And most importantly, take Champion specialization, due to rally bonuses to attack and defense.

Loads of people on the Bioware forums have been complaining of crashes during combat ever since they installed patch 1.03.

Yeah, I have no problems with the patch nor Awakening, I've played a few hours.
Some of the CTDs are related to mods, like the Font Size one (can't remember the name), but I'm playing without mods and it runs fine.

So I will ask,

Played a bit, no problems here either. Story-wise it seems to be quite entertaining, there are some other things i don't like though.
One thing is Warden's Keep lack of compatibility. If it's indeed intended, then it's one of the worst design decisions i've seen in a game in quite a bit of time. I mean, if the stuff was imbalanced or smth, it was far worse in the original campaign then in the expansion, and the lack of continuity is really bad for a game like this. Stuff i could live without, but at the very least the skills should carry over.
Another thing i've a gripe with is the fact that a lot of new stuff - specializations, skills, new abilities etc - aren't really integrated into the game. Sure, they are here, in awakening. But You can't start a new DA:O game with an intention to play a Guardian, or a Battle Mage or any other of the new specs, nor can You choose (or at least see, since they seem to be high level) new abilities or skills. Those things should be there, enhancing Your options, but instead it's just like DA:O and DA:A were two separate games, just bundled together.
And lastly, there seem to be some serious bugs here and there. My carried over Blood Mage, for example, can activate the "cast-spells-with-hp" ability and cast spells infinitely, because it seems it's now broken and spells cost me like 7 or 8 hp each (if it was even caused by that, and not some random bleeding dot).
All in all, it seems to be a really good adventure, but not so good expansion pack, since it doesn't really "expand" on the original game. Unless it's some sort of a bug, but it doesn't seem to be.

This is more a module comparable to NWN modules. It's not really a full continuation of the main game or an addition to it. Calling it an extra campaign is better than using the term expansion.

Everything is working here for me. No crashes or weird bugs.
But for the actual game, a bit underwhelmed thus far. Only played a few hours but definitely not the quality the full game was. This ain't no Throne of Bhaal expansion. I think Bioware really hyped this thing up far too much. Ah well, it's still nice playing new content.

What sucks is that there is no romance.. which was always the thing I found most interesting in bioware games. HEATHENS...
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Yeah I did that; I also believe that the D2D is just like the boxed version of the game.
