No excuse to take 5 SECONDS to boot the game up! They spend more time with everything else, but leave the most important step- TEST! Whatever...
Im sure someone will step up to the plate and release it.
So many console releases NUKED recently...Im not complaining since its free, but not testing? bothers me...

no kidding.. the boys at polyphony must've done a real number with this one, obviously it's one of, if not THE, hottest game out on ps2 and it's been 3+ days with no word of a working release in sight.

If one group can make a working release of this it's Echelon. They have done some amazing jobs in the past.

the NFO file says ENJOY!!! how in the hell are we going to enjoy and the damn game is nuked???? I think this is one game we have to buy if we want to play it because theres no way to burn this game if it wasn't nuked, because the orignal is on a dvd9 right?and ps2 cant read burned dvd9 disc, well in order for to fit on a dvd5 the game will have to be cut movies, music etc..... i think the best bet will just go and buy it you guys

don't count too much on a gt4 rip, 2 dvd+/-r or even a working dvd+r dl image ... This one is hard, and too mcuh time is needed for re-structuring the lba ...

the game is uncrackable, there aren't people out there compotent enough to be able to get around the copy protection/file restriction
and don't take that as an insult, polyphony digital has done a good job on protecting there game from piracy, I guess we will all have to buy this game

The PAL release is out right ?
Wouldn't a P/N Selector patch work okay for those of you who want this one ?
Edit: Ah nevermind, the PAL is nuked too...

Couldn't one just use the HDLoader and copy it to their HD, transfer the files to a computer, make an ISO, then burn? Thanx.

just kidding, it does seem like a working rip may be more than a few days away, but i hope that doesn't discourage any of the groups from at least attempting the rip. i'm sure with some resampled audio, cut tracks, intro movies and stuff, they can squeeze it to a dvd5. |
Doesn't matter, the disc is is pressed with PTP, no burners supports PTP. |
wow, i wasn't aware of that. i guess that sort of clears things up, do you have more information on PTP? what exactly is it?
