Most of those items were shit anyway.

Before they dumbed it down, the Blood Dragon armor was probably the best armor in the game, when you factor in strength and stats.

And Starfang was the best two-handed sword in the game.

2.5 – Will my items, armor, stats, etc transfer over if I import my character from Dragon Age: Origins?

Almost all items are imported with your character. The only exceptions are the Origins promotional items and DLC loot, which were meant for Origins alone.

So, that would mean losing Helm of Honnleath (Stone Prisoner DLC), Starfang (Warden's Keep), or Blood Dragon Armor!?!

Just think of this, having your character equipped with these, and essentially entering Awakening naked.

I'm more worried about the fact that if I want to import my character something strange will happen, because of the ending I've chosen... and I don't like that Sad

I want to import my decisions and stuff without reviving my char Sad

It was more like example. But Helm of Honnleath, Harvest Festival Ring or Starfang are really some of great items, probably still used by main character at the end of the game.

I don't think it's a big deal, the new awakening items they showed on the live demo seem better than most of the DLC. I guess the people that actually paid for some of those shitty things are getting screwed, but then again it is only an expansion.

According to BioWare, if I star a new character, I can't import my decisions from the previous one... so that sucks too.
I'll be playing with a random story... not mine Sad

If I were you, I would just all the way start a brand new character in Origins. That's what I'm about to do, so I can have the *full* experience.

Well I don't know what the cdkey is for because you can't register The Awakening on the Bioware social site

Also, downloaded half of it ... guess in 10 minutes I'll know.

Fuck it! I'm gonna install this on my legit copy of Dragon Age and use it while being online...

Worst case scenario, they ban my Bioware social account, but that won't prevent me playing my game again and again Very Happy
