It says it is based in the UK, shouldn't be a US server. Also I am from Europe and game works fine as usual.

This thread needs a seriously extreme moderation or even bringing down a padlock on it until a scene release pops in or at least some kind of a solution comes around the block that renders the game to a more playable state than the ones that have been presented so far...

Yeah im sure bad publicity has nothing to do with them wanting to you know...sell MORE games in the future with this drm.
Or they have already cut their losses and said, well we have x number of clients now, we don't need any one else buying ac2

I don't think it would be reasonable to assume that the game was partly incomplete in the first place. And it didn't make the game any easier to crack - protection is still server side.
If they wanted to, they could make this game crack proof short of emulating the server as discussed before. I am still not convinced that in fact this isn't what they've done.

Ubisoft don't care about PC publicity, they make their money from selling games on consoles.
Heck even the community rep on the official forums was just telling people to ask for a refund.

You really need to stop thinking like an individual and start thinking like a company.
In the business world there isnt a "we don't care".
You don't do stuff "because its fun".
Either you have
A) Oportunity to make profit from pc games. > Make games for pcs
b) Pc games don't give profit > Don't make pc games.
Its that easy. Also considering they made 23 milion dolloars from pc games last year id say they;re inclined in remaining in the market

I mean, you guys are so ironic, you don't even know.
You are basically proving Ubisoft right with every attack. You look like spoiled little kids, who for once couldn't play their game before release day. And that's practically the truth too.
You can hide behind online communist mumbo jumbo kitchen philosophies, but the truth is simple:
1. You didn't buy the game.
2. You can't pirate it
3. You feel everything should belong to everyone, and thus you should have free stuff on others' expense
4. You act like a child and attack a legit business model, not because you can't play with your legit copy, no. You attack, because you feel like you are entitled to something for free.
Wake up idiots, you will just make more publicity for Ubisoft, and they will not drop their protection.

The servers were down and everybody was able to play. What server emulation ? And as far as the complete - incomplete game, Ubisoft told that a cracked release will be incomplete. And from what we have witnessed today, the game is very much complete and server free.
