Well it doesn't copy files. I think it just verifies your CD-key every time. Like a multiplayer game - that system isn't cracked either (and it can't be from client side).

Yes, I have been fucked in the ass exactly one time for 20 minutes. Instead you spend your life waiting for some precious group of people you don't even know to crack the game. Who's the idiot here? I've never even noticed the presence of DRM.
And besides, I'm not anti-pirate. In fact, as I said thousands of times before, I will gladly pirate Splinter Cell Conviction. AC2 is a true, proper sequel to AC1, correcting many of its predecessor's mistakes, that is enough for me to justify the buy.

Which means only by emulating a private server makes is possible to play AC2 "offline".
That also means that there is no need for a crack.

Well server emulator would do the job, but to much hassle ( as any other mmorpgs that you can play on ur pc with teh server emulator on ur pc also )

Except you will also have to figure out how exactly Ubi's server works before you can emulate it. Also they could use some additional unique checks at specific points in the game, but this shouldn't be too much of a problem once you get a working server code.

Now works servers UBI ... first time works 30-45 min, now only 3 min :-/
