That shitty trainer still crashes the demo at the same spot half way through the Reaper mission when you access the Radar Station.

Non-Steam Download of the demo is available now, needs Steam to run. Those Square Enix guys got some strange sense of humor...

That suks but oh well I'm online, so I'll deal with the steam demo and have it on 2 consoles, a little off topic, I'm grabbing just cause1 for 360 $10 new damn, also just cause works on win7, no wide-screen or controller support, i had never played the first one....

Did you read the instructions? Smile

Anyway, trainers are pretty much rendered useless by now, assuming that 'hackpack' actually works, which it probably does.

EDIT: Forgot about the unlimited grenades and unlimited ammo options featured in the latest trainer.

The hackpack works better than the trainers for me, but it has it's flaws apparently, while using it, I can't hear some of the sound effects like smaller explosions.

Download this and extract it so the folder inside is in your Just Cause 2 Demo install folder, probably C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\just cause 2 demo\ :

- Demo time limit 'removed'.
- Demo map limit removed.
- Introduction cutscenes removed.
- All vehicles in the demo available through black market for free.
- All weapons in the demo available through black market for free.
- Upgrades for vehicles and weapons are free.
- Spiffy black market images for all of the vehicles since the demo didn't have
them.

Awesome, thanks.

Had a seriously close call with the RPG:

After spending many hours in the demo i can only hope that there will be some-sort of modding support\community for this..i think the size and scope of this game begs for a superman type mod.. ... well maybe not superman , but something similar. and the ability to steer planes with mouse would be nice.

Yeah the hackpack disables some of the sounds, shame... Ah well, don't wanna play too much of the demo anyway, wouldn't wanna get bored with the area before the game even gets released. Razz

Edit: The missing sounds started working a while, was missing the grappler sound and nade explosions.

As of current version, they appear when you die and resume play. Though I got a crash while using the hackpack, so meh.

I don't necessarily agree with everything I say.

the trainer causes crashes right after you finish area completions.

i just blew up a base 100%, and shortly after, demo froze.

right when i was about to liberate a town 100% by grabbing the last flashing treasure box, it crashes.

in the old trainer, it would crash to desktop without error.
now it crashes with error warning.

I've never had more trouble with a demo. Even without trying any mods for time limit, it will actually let me into the game about 20% of the times i try and launch it, others it freezes at the loading screen. Then when it does let me in, runs perfectly smooth then about 2 minutes in it freezes. Tried re-installing many times, nothing.

Anyone else having this?
