yeah dont bother connecting incase further issues happen for u getting all kicked off, next thing will be pb fuck up on servers where they think ur cheating when all this shit happened and ur legit copy will never get back online lols..
just wait it out go play another game or 10 while u wait....

The thing i don't like about the game is when you get in a vehicle as a gunner mainly.
And everything goes yellow lol.
It might be the brightness setting i have on or is everyone having this?
You can't see fook all sometimes lol.

Did u know effects to low will give u some different effect.
i tested this in Single player once, the colour became more real/natural,
but loses some richness of smoke effects also.
I just tested it for frames, dint actually compare it in depth.
but i definitly noticed that change.
Comin weeks ill be online too cant wait

after much frustration last late afternoon/early evening, i was actually to play just fine later on. As i already said (during beta), this game is a real jewel for us "FPS"-ers (sp?).
While i eagerly await BF3 (more vehicles , more players) i really enjoy this "Battlefield". i am also quite happy that Dice (or more likely EA) decided to bring this (BC2) also to the PC (where it belongs imho).
There is nothing to say about the SP, besides the obviously WOW. And i don't think its "short" in any meaning (i rather finish it in 6-9 hours of fun, then in 20 hours of boredom lol) + the Main aspect is obviously the MP part.
While some prefer the "Conquest" mode, some the "Rush" mode, i like them both. Quite frankly, i wish it had this in bf2 (and all the earliers including 1942). Don't get me wrong, Conquest is nice and fine for the most of the time, but BF veterans (and i consider myself that, having played and owning all of them) know, how on some maps, its quite frustrating and takes away a lot of possible action (people are spread all over the map trying to cap flags) which means you end up with no more than 5-10 players on 1 spot. In Rush (i think BF1942 Desert Combat added such a game mode, which they used later in Frontlines : Fuel of War), the Action is ALWAYS centered around 1-2 Hotspots/Frontline. This makes for far more intense Battles (so even tho max players is 32, half of whats in BF2) you actually see more Action in terms of players/zone. Big plus in my eyes. Even (or especially) 24 players are best imo for Rush (12vs12 in 1 combat zone is very intense still and makes for a bit less random killings (AOE).
Conquest is done nice aswell here, since the maps ARE slightly smaller than the BF2 (big) ones. And points are better connected to each other.
Graphics, Sounds, Environments are nicely done, as i guess everybody agrees on. It scales very nice (even low looks still amazing) and it runs on pretty every "normal" current machine (dual core , a standard today, normal amount of ram (i consider 2 for xp normal, 3+ for vista/7 and a decent GPU , i run it on 2 9600 GT's in Sli and get good FPS in medium, dx10). Plus it has a lot of settings to finetune personal needs and requirements.
Obviously there is a problem atm with the Master Server during peak times, but then again, show me a new game (that requires a Master server connection , inclusive mmo's etc) which doesn't have that issue at start. i'm sure once EA added some new servers + fine tuned the existing ones and the traffic etc, it will go smooth 24/7.
only thing they really need to work on, is the server browser. While in itself its just fine (i miss a filter for ping tho, like <50, <100 etc) it has all the stuff there thats needed. However it is quite slow atm (maybe related to Master Server aswell, guessing). We will see. Hope they add support for xfire etc soon 
Anyway,
great game, worth buying 9+/10.
PS: ya it beats mw2 lulz p

This game definitely kicks ass. I don't think there is a way to run a "mixed" mode server of Conqeust/Rush. I wish there were though, as my clan would prefer to alternate. I haven't even played the single player, but the multi will see a lot of action for a long time I'm sure. Sadly, you start with pretty shitty weapons though, so the game definitely rewards you for more time played. As you level and get newer unlocks, you are a at a serious advantage over those with the lowbie weapons. I'm only lvl 10, but picked up someone G36 LMG (I think that was the model) and I instantly noticed a huge advantage over any of the previous weapons I was using, getting a quck 7 kill streak while I had it. I've heard the M60 is total domination, but I've got a long ways to go still. Overall, this is the best military style multi I've played since COD4, easily outdoing MW2.

Punk buster is such a shitty anti cheat programme.
They should use everything for online games as they do for team fortress 2.
They have it all sorted.
I'm still getting booted by punk buster.
And now it is saying I've been kicked by the administrator.
All i done was get in a heli, go to a far red base with another dude in the heli.
Smoked some enemy and then i get kicked?
Must be a punk buster error?
That or the admin is a total ass.

kicked by admin is not a PB error. But i got the same message just 10 min ago, so i might be mistaken. And i did not do anything other than owning enemies in my abrams tank I love that thing with alt fire spec.
BTW Sometimes my "engineer score" is going up sooo slowly. Can i only get it by repairing stuff? Some levels have few tanks to repair.

No. Anything you do while playing as engineer (except while you're piloting vehicles) goes towards your engineer score.

But you will get it faster by doing engineer stuff, especially if you support your squad.
Edit: Very good source of faster scoring and unlocks are squad base game modes, like Squad Deathmatch for example.

Anyone had it where it doesn't respond?
Hope they fix it as it could be a game breaker for me that.
